  9. ok guys i bought a BBK air intake from someone with a 99-04 mustang and he moded it so it no longer has the hole for the sensor, and my 98 gt requires one. i have for now just taped the sensor out of the way but have noticed a huge drop in mpg so i imagine that it is running rich do to the heat. anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue? tonight im going to swap back to my opened stock with k&n. ill take some pics if i can. thanks
  10. the z1's are amazing ive had the rare chance to know two guys that have owned them. great bikes but not the best at above 100mph youll get blown off...
  11. if i were yoiu id run half race gas and half pump. i've had guys come in the shop fouling out plugs running race gas in a stock tuned bike. i've done it with no problems on stock set up but my bike is as old as shit..lol
  12. i know there are many stories that can go both ways, and i've hurd them both and been witness to many. i just want there to be more "educated" riders out there:}
  13. I've been in the motorcycle industry all my life. I think that a lot of blame can be put on the people selling the bikes(not in all cases). I've seen people come in the pony that have never been on a motorcycle in their life and they just bought a new "busa" or "1000rr" and it makes me angry, not because I'm jealous but because they tell me "the guy at the dealership said it was the right size and i can handle it". Now mind you I've seen people that have done that and are still in one piece but people wake up these bikes have more power than some cars and weight one forth as much. I'm sorry if I'm preaching but this is no laughing matter, people need to take these things seriously.
  14. t butter let me know when your ready to sell that motor/trans. i might buy it just to have some fun with. maybe put it in the jeep...lol
  15. if you are willing to spend lots of time on the phone and willing to risk losing the car you can try to do it. http://bmv.ohio.gov/title/title_faq.htm if during the expection they suspect that the car was stolen at any point they will impound the car. i would suggest buying a car of the same make/model/year and transfer either the vin or the rest of the car. i went through the same thing with a motorcycle.
  16. how much would it cost for a sponsor logo?
