+1 Keep the car stock and drive it. You're in no position to modify a car at this point in your life. Concentrate on school, save up your money, and mod cars later when you're at a better financial position to do so. This is your daily driver, right? No reason at all for hood pins, and the hood is rice. Learn from older, wiser people on this site who were once in your position and made the same mistake you're in the process of doing

buy a nice honda civic for a daily driver---unless you work at a job where it doesn't really matter whether you show up or not. an old car is an old car (unreliable). an old, modded car is generally twice as unreliable. nothing is more miserable then having a broke daily driver sucking your wallet dry as you panic to fix it--been there, done that. any car with more than very minor bolt-ons does not make a good daily driver, with very few exceptions.

don't know if i'll ever buy another mustang, but this would be one i'd probably be interested in.
