its absolutely impossible to tear it in 3 places---trust me, it just can't happen. you should call local fire departments--sometimes they have them there. also, she might find it easier to get around with a walker--much easier for older people to use then crutches--fire dept's will certainly have walkers. make sure she takes care of the incision---these incisions very frequently get infected in that area

damn, that's a lot of mileage---our '05 has 60k miles. as stated, ignition coils, the rear panel cracking (5 year window to fix it, cost me $75), and wheel bearings. i like our eddie bauer---heated seats, 3rd row, 2nd row bench will hold 3 car seats.

vette looks great. welcome to the site. as far as the GTO goes, are you sure you didn't have the slp lm1 (loudmouth) kit?? i've got an lmII kit on my '05 gto and its actually very sedate, by slp standards. the mufflers are actually mufflers, and not just resonators like they are on the loudmouth kits--which i have on my '85 mustang.

no. the sportsman block is still a 2 bolt main block with just a bit more beef in the bulkheads, and a few other places, but does not at all compare to the r302. r302 is bombproof.

i say go for it. i'm waiting to see exactly how things pan out the first year or two before i buy one---and yes, i can afford a brand new m3, but would probably opt for the stang. getting a bit sick of my gto.

wow, just look at that monstrosity. honestly there's a guy out there somewhere. i'm fairly certain he's quite intelligent--he designed the honda civic. do you think he ever envisioned someone taking his design and turning it into such a fucked-up abortion of a vehicle?? i'll save you the time it will take you to think about the question. the answer is NO. my recommendation is to get full coverage on that car and then promptly: 1) drive it into the scioto river or 2)light it on fire collect insurance, and start all over. we've all made mistakes---sometimes those mistakes result in unwanted children, herpes, or missing limbs. in your case, it just means you drive a car not even an illegal would cross the boarder in if he was allowed to do so.

it won't be worth squat if its not running, so if the cost of repairs is not much, i would repair it before you sell it. anytime i see someone selling a car and they say "it just needs this (tune, new fuel pump, spark plugs, etc) in order to run perfectly"---i automatically assume that they've tried multiple things to fix the problem with the car and it will be a HUGE headache for the new owner get running. the price i'd pay for that car goes WAY down. maybe they're being honest, maybe they know the car will never run right, maybe they're just exhausted with the car---i don't know, but i assume the worst. so, i say sell it running, or part it out and sell it as a roller.
