    Ouch

damn, 21?? i pegged you at 16, maybe 18 years old at most, by the way you post on this site. i guess a congratulations is in order for surviving this long without accidentally killing yourself. try some water, and tylenol for the hangover
  3. "maybe she's just too fucking busy" mr. white --reservoir dogs i almost always tip between 18-20%, because our kids make a fucking mess everywhere, and i usually am happy with the service. if i get shitty service, then i tip shitty---almost never happens. only time i can remember doing that in the last 5 years, was actually only about a month ago.
  4. yep, that's what i was under the impression of. we used to have it down to a science---you leave the works in your garage on a winter night, and the bomb might take 30 minutes to go off
  5. this has got to be your best bet
  6. little known fact about the 'works' bombs. you could fill the 2 liter bottle with more works, and more aluminum foil, and put a giant 'punching' balloon over the top of the bottle. once the chemical reaction occurred, the balloon would fill with hydrogen gas. tie a wick to the balloon once its full--light the wick, watch the balloon take off, and explode.
  7. we used to take "the works" drain unclogger, and mix it with aluminum foil inside a 2 liter bottle. it would take about 5-10 minutes to blow up depending on how cold the 'works' was. loud as hell with plenty of time to escape.
  8. good intro, interesting car, welcome to the site
  9. 5 big ten titles in a row---impressive. i don't care how we won---a win is a win. not one team in division 1 has been immune to playing ugly this year
  10. nerve racking game. too bad we'll have to wait until the nfl to see how good posey is, as he won't be utilized properly until then.
  11. good to know. if i go auto, it might be this spring, as summer comes just a bit later here. not interested in shifting the auto--i'd want the computer to control it. probably go with a fully built 4r70w--not too concerned about cost. i've spent more on my solid rear conversion (that i pieced together from scrap with all new ford parts) than i care to admit. brand new, welded housing, 33 splines, trutrac, MM lower control arms, torque arm and panhard bar, brand new exhaust, etc. etc.
  12. cobra--getting ready to trailer the car 1.5 hours away next week to get my fully built solid rear installed--this has been over a year in the works. then, i'll go with a big/little set-up and some weight loss as i shoot for 10's. seriously considering an automatic as well. GTO---i keep going back and forth as to whether i want to do longtubes and a cam '85 GT--5 lug wheel swap up front with new suspension, swap in my cobra's IRS into the rear '87GT--seriously considering selling it. i don't need the money at all, the car is just not fun to drive. i'll either sell it this summer, or completely redo it. sad as hell, i've owned it for 12 years. clutch is way to heavy, suspension way too stiff, car is untuned, etc. i'll probably hang onto it, and just completely redo everything. new car coming this summer
  13. not sure i know of an unpullied cobra anymore. a ported and pulleyed eaton cobra will absolutely scream. wish i had video of mine when i had just a catback, and a ported/pulleyed eaton--that's all you could hear was the blower
  14. welcome, post some pics of your rides
  15. i'm actually surprised that those aren't factory installed items. with all the absolute bullshit extras you can get on these cars, and all the 'special edition' s197's made by ford, i wouldn't be surprised to find out that you can order one right from ford just like it. the new mustang has brought all kinds of closet ricers out of the woodwork. $35k--some people just have no clue.
  16. its not purple---its impulse blue http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/5594/kirkcobra001editli6.jpg http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/5392/kirkcobra006ym7.jpg
  17. pm me the surgeon's name--i know all of them at st annes. people love to blame the surgeon when they don't heal, or make a complete recovery. they don't realize that some damage is irreversible, and the surgery is only one aspect of their recovery. if your dad's a smoker, now is the time to quit. this fracture takes 5-6 months to fully recover from, although he will be puting weight on it much sooner, if he isn't already. hope he has a speedy recovery
  18. not a bad option, i'm going to start checking cl
  19. interesting. i have a 40" bottom and top box that i bought from sam's club---its been good so far. also have a craftsman professional 36" bottom cart that i've been very happy with. and then a menard's cheapo 36" bottom cart in my garage. all are very reasonable for me, as i just don't do as much car work. i'd love to get one more big one, but can't justify the cost of a snapon or mac box
  20. bob villa is dead to me
  21. someone on this site mentioned how much they liked them--that's why i got them our lowe's wanted $1800 for both the top and the bottom. didn't see how much just the bottom was
