  1. if they only 'really' sold at that price, i'd get one in a year or two. i'm guessing they'll be bid on, and well above 100k--if not, we'll see
  2. seems like a pretty good price--post some pics. my buddy just bought one from carmax, not too long ago with 52k miles on it for $27,500, and it didn't have all the TSB's taken care of--so your price seems pretty good.

    new to cr

i just figured out my next 3 mods. 1) custom bent tailpipes so my car has a lopey idle, giving off the impression that i have cams in the car. 2) fake nitrous purge system to make it seem like my car has NAWWWWS 3) fake blow-off-valve to make my car sound like it has a turbo thanks original poster
  4. no new Z-28??? how am i going to find a car that is both classy, and powerful enough to pull my double wide???
  5. hotter than hell. its an incredibly busy year--not much time to really drive my car at all (only driven it 5 times in two months), or see my kids much. its only a year and it will fly by.
  6. anytime you want those screws taken out of your ankle, dr. davison's office # is 759-1186--
  7. you're a complete moron--take the tampon out of the first-aid kit in your glove box, and drive your car off a cliff, tool. if you read the thread you would know that the generator was bought in an absolute emergency situation, and it was basically my last resort. i didn't want to just dump the gas out in my driveway (both my gas containers were full). "bad motherfucker" is a reference from pulp fiction--i don't consider myself too much of a bad motherfucker at all, i just love pulp fiction, and haven't changed my avatar. i don't need to fight my way out of anything (i did all my fighting in jr. high and high school, like normal children do), but i could probably crush you with my wallet.
  8. see post #18--not sure which one she is, not that i give a shit--just giving the leg humpers something. also not sure if the coach is a man or a woman http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52218&highlight=car+wash
  9. i had this same issue, and tried that fix, but it did not work for some reason. i ended up getting a fiore quadrant and firewall adjuster, and they work perfectly. just starting to research parts for my solid rear set-up
  10. ideally, i would have done that. that plan would not have gone well with the domestic engineer-- last year, it would not have been a problem to just drop $1k on something i may never need.
  11. its just as bad here in tampa, if not worse--and we live in a nice area--not sure where all these people come from to shop, but they certainly don't live in the immediate area
  12. you DO realize this is a car enthusiast website, and not myspace.com, or facebook?? i'm going to go out on a limb and venture that not many here give a fuck, based on the responses so far.
  13. no offense taken. i'm an orthopedic surgeon--this year i'm specializing in total knee and hip replacements
  14. i took a huge paycut this year to sharpen my knowledge with a fellowship--basically more training to create my niche. no yuppie here--you'll never see me in a bimmer drinking a starbuck's coffee.
  15. i had absolutely no other choice--read above
  16. i had absolutely no place to put the gas--every gas container i had was full. i knew they'd make a fuss about it--that's why i recommended going to the lawn and garden section to begin with.
  17. apparently, reading comprehension owns you, and the last few posters above you. of course i will generalize the people who shop regularly at wal mart---they are "generally" white trash, plain and simple. that being said, i will shop there from time to time for things--so what. my wife is the one who won't shop there. i had intentions of buying a generator at lowes or home depot--maybe sears. the hurricane was set to hit us that night (in 6 hours), i didn't have time to shop all over tampa, since i basically decided to get it at the last second---i stopped at lowe's and home depot, and all that was left were generators in the $1-$2k range--i wasn't going to spend that kind of money on a whim--maybe you're more of a "baller" than me. i knew exactly what i was getting into in buying the wal mart junk, but i had absolutely no other option. i wasn't surprised that it wouldn't start, and would have reacted that way to the manager at ANY store.
  18. that's crazy. one of the local forums linked that thread. i avoid tampa racing as much as i can---mostly just complete ricers. there's a forum i check out from time to time that is much more domestic v8 oriented. but that story is nuts
  19. those are phenominal numbers by the way, for 20psi on stock manifolds and a 2.8. congrats
  20. tons of things that can cause difficulty getting to sleep---eating too late, caffeine (sounds obvious, but people who drink caffeinated pop at dinner could still be feeling the effects), depression, stress--new job, etc. etc.
  21. shit, i should have gotten a trailblazer SS. i may still do that if the deals are on this coming summer i may just ditch the wife's exploder
