  1. i have two olive green/flowered patterned chairs for sale here. they are very comfortable, and would make excellent chairs for a basement/game room. if they were recliners, they would be perfect, but they do not recline. they've been in my finished basement for 3 years, and were given to us by my wife's grandfather, who passed away last year. i can't take them with me, and am moving this spring/summer--i'd rather not just trash them either, seeing as how they are in perfect condition. i haven't the slightest clue how to price these chairs, so i will just give them away, unless someone wants to give me $$ for them-- so i will start the bidding at zero dollars, and sell them for whatever at the end of the weekend---if no one bids, then they will go to whoever wants them for free, or the trash man. pics will be posted later today/tonight
  2. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/103-5310909-8328603?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=george+hayduke i have the book "getting even, the complete book of dirty tricks" some of them are downright cruel. i highly suggest any one of his books
  3. with a good driver, and a good launch-- low 11's if the car had a solid rear, and a bit of weight loss it could be in the 10's. i'm not expecting either, so i'm o.k. with things.
  4. thanks guys. yeah the clutch is probably on the brink, so no hard launches for me. http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/9118/s3500027rb4.jpg http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/748/s3500029nv9.jpg http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/gallery/data/532/cobra_3_.JPG
  5. yep. black on black '04 cobra. complete mod list as follows 2.3l whipple with 17 lb pulley MAC 2.5" catback bassani catted midpipe K&N FIPK intake head cooling modification 60lb injectors mass air extender kenne bell boost a pump, with upgraded wiring throughout, and stock pumps upgraded in-tank fuel hosing springs, MGW shifter, subframes, IRS brace, wheels and 315 nittos firewall clutch adjuster with new clutch quadrant (stock clutch) aeroforce guages with LM1 wideband (that i haven't figured out yet) clutch, headers, transmission and rear end are completely stock, as are the heads and bottom end of the motor and yes, the car should be good for deep into the 11's, but i don't drag race my car, and will not launch it hard enough to go for that in may. and my driving ability is most likely nothing more than average.
  6. who knows, maybe i'll get the car into the 12's at norwalk with my driving skillz. seriously, i'm happy with the car. my wife's comment when i got home: "you said you'd be home earlier, too bad your car didn't blow up"--obviously, she's not an auto enthusiast.
  7. congrats. hope everything works out for you.
  8. yeah, i have nothing to hide, don't street race the car, so i'm not worried about people knowing that the car made great power. thanks to brian. as always, my car tried to make it difficult for him, but brian and his dad spent extra time to get it running like a beast, and with a very conservative street tune as well. the car drove like an animal on the way home, and i barely got into it, with the 300lbs of weight i had in the trunk.
  9. i got one of the last spots
  10. at least you're a good sport about it. good luck with the build
  11. i may make it saturday night, assuming its nice out
  12. are you guys^^^ life partners or something??? every post either of you make, you constantly use the term "we" over and over again, like you two are 'together' or something---not that there's anything wrong with that see, that's a funny joke.
  13. and lose the truck flaps, and it would be perfect
  14. love the wheels, clean car. just be careful with low overpasses with that wing.
  15. i'll have to look a little more into things, and check the ground. i'm assuming its going to be grounded near the headlamp housing?
  16. my brother has a 2003ish ford escape with a dim driver's side headlight. he tried changing the bulb, and it didn't fix the problem. we looked at the connector to the bulb, and it looked partially melted, so we just spliced in a new connector and it didn't fix the problem. the light is extremely dim, and does not brighten at all by putting the brights on. any ideas??? thanks kirk
  17. thanks for the comments guys. my buddy was asking me if i've ever heard of ls1tech.com
  18. i call b.s. we all know that there's no way that any fbody can be worth $25k j/k, hope its a joke man.
  19. i'll let him know, thanks
  20. thanks incredible picture
  21. i can't remember. anyways, he bought it. i went over and he took me for a spin in it. pretty impressed with the ride, power, amenities, etc. car needs detailed badly, but other than that, looks great. he got the slate grayish blue color. i know he could have gotten a better deal, but he doesn't have the time to look all over, at multiple cars, etc. etc. that being said, he needs to get the car inspected by a reputable shop. who would be good??
  22. kelley blue book----private party is 27,700, with 40k miles, fully loaded, like the one he's looking at. cars.com/autotrader.com have some with comparable mileage for around $28-29k seems like a decent deal, especially if it has the 5yr, 100k warranty we're checking a carfax, etc. etc.
  23. gotta give it to him though, at least he threw it like a man.
  24. dyke mobile for sure. the neighbors across from me have a grown lesbo daughter, and her friend has the el-camino style isuzu version of this. i have no clue what they see in this car, but every time i see one, there's a man-girl driving it
