  3. it will be interesting to see what a mach 1 makes with an eaton at 8psi. with the higher compression ratio of the mach, i bet it will be over 420rwhp, especially if he has longtubes.

  5. svtperformance, like hal said. at least once a week, an established member of the site decides to sell their cobra for some unknown, fucking idiotic reason--usually to buy a z06 vette. plenty of low mileage, un-abused cars there. buy one with a twinscrew, and be done with it. i have an '87 h/c/i fox, and nothing, i mean nothing compares to the cobra--i've never driven a z-06 vette though

  10. i'm not bent out of shape, and i've been on the computer or watching TV all afternoon. i get to watch descrambled movie channels here--already watched 'breakfast club', 'road trip', 'sin city', and now 'tombstone' is on. the wife showed up with my daughters and brought me lunch. i won't tell you what i'm getting paid right now, but you can be assured its more than you're making right now, and we're doing the exact same thing. hell, if i were at home right now, i'd be taking care of two screaming infants--so this is not really work for me anyways.

  13. no belt slip as far as i know--just the normal dust that is to be expected. i have the tensioner pulley that wraps the belt almost 270 degrees around the blower pulley. maybe i'll get a new belt just to be sure. yeah it was good to see your car out--sounded incredible.
  14. i put down 580 hp/ 540tq, and made 1 lb less boost--about 17.5 this was with 17.5 degrees timing. i'm guessing the humidity caused the lb of boost loss, so maybe there's just a bit more hp with better air. the week prior, we had bone-dry, 60 degree weather, and the car put down 590 at 18 degrees, and 615 at 20 degrees with a bit leaner tune--with 18.4 psi. either way, i was very pleased to get 2 tunes saved in the car. the first one has about 15.5 degrees timing and made 560hp, and the second tune (which is currently programmed into the car) is the 17.5 degree tune, with 11.5 a/f. hopefully the GTO will make 380ish once i get it tuned--i don't really know what to expect from it. i probably should have done longtubes instead of a catback. once i get some time, i'll have my brother come over and help me get the video of my last pull--it might be a week or so though, but i will post it.
  15. your car sounds awesome. i wish i would have stayed--i left right as they were puting it on the dyno. my brother videotaped my last run, i'll have to post that up sometime.
  16. i was very happy about things--got 2 tunes saved on my tuner, both are conservative--now i just need to actually drive the car on the road. i didn't get a chance to tune the goat, as i was called back home by the domestic engineer--that's life.

  20. nice video hal. glad to see your car is running. i saw no supercharger, so i may assume a turbo(s) is/are in order?? i would have loved to hear your kenne bell at 29 psi.

  22. i'm not totally making fun of the car, even though its a bit riced out---more that i'm commenting on the people looking at it. i can guarantee i will see people looking at it tonight. i actually think the color is not that bad
  23. not sure how they replace half of the quad shocks?? i'm assuming they bolt up directly in place of the quad shocks--in other words, you remove each quad shock and bolt these in place on either side--its been a while since i've looked into modding my fox--but if they'll improve my car's handling (and my 21 year old stock quad shocks), i'll take them for $20. are you coming to the dyno day??
