  1. Offense looks good. defense needs some work. So many weapons on offense. They still need to learn how to be maximally effective without being too cute. No problem with cardale. I haven't seen him make any mcsteaks, and he's still not easy to tackle. His arm is fine, he just needs to get more comfortable with Braxton and the option.
  2. He can change it. And when the Buckeyes beat bama this year he has to create a buckeye victory dance, which will get added to his sig in gif form.
  3. I was shocked at how well the caddy performed in the video. We all know that car is a simple flash away from 550+ hp and mid 11's with an 8 speed auto that is more than decent. Sure, the interior could be better, but the seats are incredible and the car is a bargain at that price.
  4. i love all the farting noises this car makes. and the fact you can see right through the car with all the aero when its coming at you from a turn. ford has a history of trickling parts down 3-5 years later to the lesser cars. would love to see the transmission make its way into the mustangs
  5. That's a pretty accurate analysis of the car. I never used sport mode, just touring. If you want to easily tell the difference, change between the two modes while going 80 on the freeway with tons of seams on it. Aside from my Audi, I've never been in a car that was more comfortable to cruise the freeway at 80mph. 20mpg is damn good. The small gas tank and poor mileage is a knock on the car, as Is the lack of Bluetooth. My only regret with the car was not adding a pulley, and putting a catback on the car that droned. Congrats. And I agree with the car looking menacing for a caddy. It will definitely get some looks
  6. clearly, this has to be the answer!!!! Blame it on medicine. When was the last time you saw your family doctor??? Do you have one??? I'd be willing to bet at least 50% of those on this site don't have a family physician, don't get regular checkups, have never had a mental health screening, and only go to the emergency room when they are sick, or need stitches. Am I right?? Of course I am, that was a rhetorical question. Even if we were able to get every single human being into the office of a psychiatrist for a full mental health screening, mental health is not a static phenomenon. People can function without any issues one moment and then have a bout of major depression another. And then there's the obvious problem with ensuring compliance with medication. Aside from not wanting to take medication because of side effects, many people are just too fucking dumb and are incapable of getting medication refills every 1-3 months and taking it every day. I won't even address this thought any further, unless you want me to, but there are at least two other major problems with your statement that I don't even have the effort to type out right now
  7. Looks like the Texas Roadhouse parking lot. Congrats on the new car. Enjoy
  8. If you have time, nascar is at road America, which is practically 5 minutes from where your car is located. It's a big weekend there. Weather is shitty right now here, but they will still run, and it's a cool track to watch a race at
  9. at some point i will probably own one of these, but for $130k, the interior has to be up to par. could care less about cost savings---guess what?? when you can throw down $130k for a car, you couldn't give two shits about gas money savings. still, very cool.
  10. Rob is a great guy, I know him personally and he does fantastic work.
  11. as a surgeon, not much is more irritating than taking care of someone else's complication becuase they thought the other surgeon was "one of the top rated", and found out the hard way that all surgeons are capable of having complications there are plenty of "top rated" plastics guys in columbus.
  12. the surgery is always a success---the recovery is why you need to be close to the surgeon in case there are any complications, or anything out of the ordinary. but what the fuck do i know?
  13. the V should hold its own in autocross. i will share one BRZ story as it relates to the V. after work, one saturday, i was headed home to spend some time with the family. pissed because i had to work on a saturday. i'm minding my own business, on the 30 mile freeway cruise home in my caddy. i notice a car several back weaving in and out of traffic. as i get in the left lane, there's a car immediately in front of me, passing a slower car that is in the right lane. BRZ guy gets right on my ass. it takes the car in front of me quite a bit of time to pass the slower car, and the whole time the BRZ is up my ass, swerving right and left as if somehow that's going to get me, or the guy in front of me to go faster. the guy in front of me passes the other car and gets over, so i decide to pass him---i'm passing him at a decent clip, and about to get over to the right, when the BRZ cuts over aggressively to pass me on the right. i let him get along side me---he's WOT---and i hammer it, leaving him just a spec in the mirror. after about 5 seconds or so, i decide to slow down (i'm still going triple digits), and i'm wondering why he's not passing me--he's about 3-4 cars back and i can hear him WOT. after about 10 more seconds, i slowed back down to 80, and he passed just glaring over at me. it wasn't until i looked up the specs on this car later, that i realized i was cruising for 10 seconds at 120 or so, and he was likely topped out and couldn't pass. for some reason i found that funny--he must have thought i was taunting him just staying out of his range for 10-15 seconds.
  14. This is why there are lawyers, and she needs one. That poor kid needs stability and she needs guaranteed support, and the dad needs to know there are repercussions for dicking around. Kids need to know where they are going to be each week. They thrive on a set schedule
  15. It's just over 7 hours and you gain an hour on the way here. Depending on how you get through Chicago of course
  16. We talkin bout uniforms here?? Good lord it's time for the season to start!!!
  17. Lol. I live 30 min from there. Looks like a winner
  18. Sounds good. Congrats. I agree, never show up in jeans to an interview----ever. Firm handshake, eye contact, don't be afraid to say "I don't know", don't show up other candidates at the interview----this looks horrible
  19. Get the recaros. They are very good. You can swap in the alcantara wrapped steering wheel and shifter if you like those, but no one gets rid of the recaros and they can be difficult to get But they have great grip and are comfortable as well. Best seats ever put in a gm
  20. I had a v sedan for 4 years. I loved it. Had zero issues. The car would have been perfect with the new 8 speed auto, and a 20 gallon gas tank. I hated filling up often, and the auto was a slush box. I really liked the recaro seats, and the ride in comfort mode was incredible. Only mod I ever had was a catback, and to be honest, it sounded great but droned on the freeway. When I switched the exhaust back to stock and drove the car 8 hours to trade it in for my Audi, I almost kept it. Dead serious. Only thing that literally held me back was I only had a bank check for the difference with my trade in accounted for. The car was that enjoyable. I completely understand the cool factor of the M. A high revving motor that spins to 8500rpms. When I put my Audi in sport mode the seatbelts tighten---how cool? Honestly after the first couple times I've forgotten about it. The truth is 99% of the time you're just not going to rev your car to 8000 rpms at every stoplight. But you will appreciate the mountain of torque the v has to offer right off the line at low rpms. That is torque you will use all day everyday with normal driving, which makes the car that fun. The coupe is within 100 lbs of the sedan which is within 100 lbs of the wagon. They are reasonably big cars. I felt the brakes in the v were VERY good over the course of 4 years of ownership. Not much difference between sport and touring suspension modes, mbuy I'm not really interested in tracking the car. You will likely find the stock power to be plenty, like me. But if not, 100 more hp is simply a pulley/tune, and heat exchanger away. The car has a pretty decent stereo as well.
  21. I'm hoping they drop the 8speed auto in this car. I'd love to pick one up, make it look generic as hell, and add a turbo.
  22. At least you'll have a chance at catching us in the caddy. The caddy makes over 250rwtq before you even open the door to start it.
  23. and.............??? impressions???? who makes a thread like this?? "hey guys, by the way, my supermodel gf was delivered last night......." congrats. love the color
