  1. this link was posted on another car forum i frequent---disturbing, to say the least http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=502847
  2. stock GTO's are not to be taken lightly.
  3. anybody in any car can be an asshole, period. the assholes tend to be younger in age (notice i said 'tend' to be)--that's a fact. these people tend to drive like assholes too--hence high insurance rates for males under the age 25. there are many, many exceptions to the rule--most of the younger people on this forum are exceptions to the rule, so please don't take offense.
  4. its going to be hard to find a place with a dance floor. some good restaurantes include: mitchell's steakhouse downtown, hyde park, ruth's criss, morton's, refectory on bethel, rosendales downtown, hanke's (spelling??), cameron's on 161, j alexanders, j gilberts, oh, and i almost forgot-------------bob evans------------------------------------j/k one of the surgeons at children's hospital (who is half owner of city BBQ) is good friends with, and swears by hanke's (spelling?). apparently, this guy is a 'master chef' or something like that, and i guess he's the only one in columbus.
  5. i was so fucking pissed about the rain, i took none. not even of the '68 grey and red striped GT500
  6. i used to work out at world's. pretty nice gym for a weightlifter, they have just about everything you could want, and the price was great for me (discount from work). tons of flatbenches, 2 inclines, 1 decline, multiple squatting cages, 3 sets of dumbells to 50, 2 sets to 100, 1 set to 150lbs, some hammer strength machines, etc, etc. a lot of gym rats there, and nasty gym rat chicks, but its manageable
  7. that's the way i treat it, but i read that whole thread, and this guy was pretty cocky, its just funny that he couldn't make it
  8. rain, rain, rain. i stayed all day but it kind of sucked. about 90 cars showed up and stayed.
  9. anyone else going tomorrow??? i'll be there if there's no rain.
  10. HE was the one who came onto this site all aggressive, i just think its ironic that he ran into a problem and now the famous clash of the titans is not happening--if he can be so aggressive on this site, and own such a dominant ultra-fast, expensive car, then he can find a way to get the parts if he really wanted to. period
  11. finishing my last year of training to become an orthopedic surgeon
  12. please update this thread in 10 days, when all the pain is completely gone.
  13. degenerative back disease has nothing to do with a one-time episode of 'over-exerting' his back muscles, which is what he is describing.
  14. prescribe a week or two worth of pain killers to mask the symptoms---$15 copay, $5-$10 for the lortab, a few days rest, and then it will be as if nothing ever happened---you and i both know this is true 99% of the time. the other 1% will have persistent pain, get x-rays/MRI, etc, etc.
  15. i'm sorry, but what's the deal with all the writing all over the place. i take it the previous owner lost the property, and decided to write random shit all over the place??
  16. twins indeed. the wife is going absolutely nuts on strict bedrest right now. it sucks having to work my normal job, and now cook, clean, etc.
  17. ella and madeline, coming in september. http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/6489/pregnancy16zg5.jpg Shot with DIGIMAX 350SE at 2007-08-02
  18. don't waste your time/money unless you have any of the symptoms i listed. we don't even order x-rays unless the pain has been going on for a few weeks, or unless there is a more traumatic accident. if you have a family doctor (and you should), you can set up an appointment to see them.
  19. i'll be there for at least a little bit, but will probably miss out on QS&L
  20. funny, but my parents used to have a '93 ford tempo, and this was totally true. my wife's '99 1.6 liter sentra is also dangerously slow merging.
  21. muscle strain. a few days rest and then return to activities. take some anti-inflammatories, and let this be a lesson about pushing yourself too hard. the pain will pass. things to be concerned about are numbness/tingling shooting down your legs, or pronounced weakness in one of your legs. you'll be fine.
  22. its been so long since i put the 3.73's in my car, but i believe the gears go by colors, and i can't remember what color it is---not very helpful, i know
  23. everybody's tastes are different. i don't expect you to be crazy about any of my cars, and i realize/accept that. the above car does look nice though, just not the 'shell' that was posted in the first post
