  1. definitely. just waiting for winter to end, and for me to get the balls to part ways with the GTR and cts-v. just don't have the time to enjoy them, or realy use the cts-v. out of the cars listed, i would go for the 550i. my neighbor has one that he daily drives and loves it. plenty of room for his kids, plenty of power/fun for a daily. and some room for mods
  2. i found a half eaten apple under the passenger seat and a peeled orange when i cleaned the car last week/changed the oil. no idea how that got back there, let alone under the seats. the kids love the speed of the GTR, but leg room is now a huge issue with my 7 year old girls. its a big enough issue that i'm probably going to part ways with the GTR at some point within the next year for something with 4 doors, AWD, a v8, and turbos.
  3. i didn't see if he was needing back seats or not. i cringe every time my 5 year old boy steps directly on the center council of my GTR in salt-covered snow boots, on his way back to the rear seat.
  4. Watched it as well. I was dumbfounded when the one guy listed off six recognizeable nfl players and said they were all second string guys, the 2001 season. They also claimed that the 2001 team would have made it to the nfl playoffs had they been an nfl team. That's a pretty bold statement considering there's no fucking way.
  5. Very cool. I have a feeling I'd be mesmerized by the cnc machine
  6. Easy bro. Didn't mean to be disrespectful. I was just commenting that the stickers are quite helpful. When the car needs maintenance you can use the stickers to remind yourself what the car actually is when you stop at the local vatozone for break pads or wiper blades.
  7. I think you mean YOU'RE in the kitchen, making her a sandwich #i let my wife dictate the team I route for
  8. +1 Put a ford mustang sticker on it, and it's now the fastest mustang in the us. Or could easily change it over to be the fastest camaro, or even dodge
  9. Pretty much. Lol. I met him last spring in Chicago. His son manages wisconsin's division of biomet implant sales, and I was at a course for a new knee replacement they have. Barry had quite an entourage with him, including some dude dressed in the most insane multi-colored suit I've ever seen. These guys were hilarious to me, maybe I had just had too much to drink. Boosters for sure. Anyways, when the group I was with (one other surgeon, and the other sales guys from biomet) showed up, of course everyone wanted to talk football. I assured everyone, their season would go just fine---they didn't have to play osu. Probably the only time in my life I've been wrong:lolguy:
  10. Herpes doesn't show up for months, most of the time. Doubtful he got the DNA test to confirm/deny it. Would love a detailed version of the story. Good shit
  11. Love the table. Congrats on the house. I will check to see what btu rating heater I have for our attached garage. I have a 3 car attached garage, which is probably similar size to your shop, and use a hot dawg heater. My garage is also decently insulated, as my boy's room is above part of it. I keep it at 55degrees no problem.
  12. Lol. I live in Wisconsin. I feared this game all week. I received 3 (yes three) official Wisconsin jerseys from my patients this week telling me "what's up". My physician assistant and nurses told me if we lost, I had to wear a jersey all week. Ten people were texting me, talking shit 1-2 hours leading up to the game. My phone has been silent for the past two hours. Priceless I might just wear the jersey anyways, just to taunt people

This thread reads like a fucking jerry springer episode. Wtf is wrong with people.
  14. there should be two categories---n/a and boosted one motor that has not been mentioned:: mercedes 6.2 liter motor---this baby can make 622hp in the black series slr amg and rev to the moon. they also sound fantastic. i vow to own a vehicle with this motor in it.

Anytime you punch a police officer in the face while he is sitting in his police car, you can expect to get shot and killed. Doesn't matter what started the altercation, or what happened otherwise. Black, white, Asian, or extraterrestrial--doesn't matter. At 18 years old, everyone knows that. Sounds like this kid had a criminal history, and should definitely know the repercussions of assaulting an officer. What's more foolish is the morons who loot/destroy stuff. If you live in a community, and consider the community your home, why the fuck would you destroy your own home?
  16. Maybe. Depending on the fracture pattern it's a six month recovery. Quicker than an acl, or shoulder labral repair. Not a terrible injury usually. Just horrible timing
  17. Who knows about the knee. The ankle will end his season and bowl hopes. It's actually better to break the ankle with a dislocation as opposed to a pure dislocation
  18. Looked like a dislocated ankle to me. Either way, he's done for the year. Sucks.
  19. The "starting" price for my gt500 was $54k. I optioned it out to just under $70k. People paid $75k for them all day long We will see. Hey, if I can get one optioned out for $56k I might bite. :lolguy: I love spending less money just like everyone else. I just know what new specialty cars oftentimes cost
  20. Gtr was sleeping on the line. Don't think it would have mattered. He'll of a lot of prep for one race.
  21. If I get stuck behind a super slow car I've been guilty once or twice of rolling up alongside the slow car as we approach a stop sign, like I'm going to make a right turn. And then pass them, after stopping at the stop sign. This dude is nuts though. Breaking the law at nearly every intersection and he doesn't ever really get ahead.
  22. Any chance at going after the perpetrators for decreased value of the trailer, since there were extra miles/wear/tear on the trailer? Good to hear he got everything back intact.
  23. Because people will (foolishly) pay for it. For just a little more I will get the new z06. I cannot see it selling for less than $70k, with options--perhaps up to $75k. That's the reality. I'd love to be proven wrong. I'm not in a position to buy a 2+2 car. I'm either hauling my kids, or want to beat the ever living piss out of a 2 seater by myself. My kids are struggling to fit in the gtr.
  24. +1 it will be north of $70k out the door. i can't envision it being any less than that. '13 shelbys were $70k with options. this car has a motor with R&D on par with the '13's. it has brakes/suspension/body work on par with the '13's. newer body style=more expensive. hell, new gt's are $45k. it will be north of $75k. i could buy a car like that, but i feel there are better options out there.
