  1. Not an expert on any Porsches by any stretch. But I've always thought the 911 has held the cayman back. Once Porsche gets rid of the "911 has to be the ultimate Porsche" mentality, this car can shine even more. Seriously, why detune the engine? We all know the answer Needs bigger brakes for those huge rear wheels.
  2. i'd like to pick one up as a winter sleeper/beater. pretty cool
  3. I had to recall my '13 gt500. Lemoned it out. It sucked. I had high expectations for that car. Realizing ALL fords aren't like this, I bought a '14 raptor. It's a sweet ride. I drove home in a blizzard yesterday, cruising at 75mph. Yes, I was THAT guy who goes flying by in the other lane while everyone "white knuckles" it at 45mph. Kudos to ford, for putting out such a beast of a truck
  4. It's tougher. The zl1 was two years old and had quite a few miles. For the most part, the customer should always be right. With so much selling of goods on the net, this concept is lost in many circumstances. I can remember a story from 15 years ago where an oil change place took a guys 911 for a joy ride and wrecked it. It was a 10+ year old car. The owner bought him a brand new 911. Talk about stepping up.
  5. Clay? Wtf Bunch of guys piling on this guy for jumping the gun with social media. I'd be livid myself and would not stop short of getting a new car with a red fucking bow on top
  6. I'm still getting tax documents in the mail, just printed out my w2.

I plan on ramming a few in my raptor. 2 points!
  8. I'm handing out money to the needy. Who wants an obamaphone?
  9. i did a massive remodel and 2400sq ft addition to my house 1.5 years ago. it was costly as shit, stressful as shit, lasted over six months, and was one of the many things that led to the end of my marriage. seriously, picking out every god damn aspect of everything and reviewing the plans multiple times, remodeling the kitchen, adding brick/stone. i can almost vomit thinking about it. but i have the house, its fucking awesome, two huge walk in closets, two offices, et etc.
  10. i have a beats by dre. i like them. funny, because you see all kinds of idiots wearing these, and i would normally be the first to buy the bose. but i hate bose.
  11. +rep. funny as shit. i think he means 'blood spots', as in, female driver. lesbian female driver. angry lesbian, male-hating, female driver
  12. We've had a mild winter. Barely ant snow and just about all that was down has melted
  13. I swear he's handicapped. Smokes so much he can only use one hand. I can't tell if he's 25, or 55 years old
  14. What do your parents have to say? Sounds like you and the rest of your family need to sit them down for a "come to Jesus session". Before our society became one of enabling, they would not have made it. It was called Darwinism, and we as a society, are REVERSING the way of nature. Those least fit to reproduce are given every advantage (artificially, through govt aide), so that they produce the most offspring. It's crazy, when you step back and think about it.
  15. Good move on not getting married, as well as the switch to domestic vehicles. You won't regret either decision. I'm not as up to date on the newer 5.0's, but suspension should be a no-brainer. Upgrade to the brembo brakes, if the car didn't come with them. If you're staying n/a, the motor loves a boss intake, tune, and longtubes. If boosted, you should be able to go low boost 6psi and be fine with the stock bottom end. The trans becomes the weak point.
  16. Pretty funny. I can only imagine what I'd do as a physician if there was some tard in the room with me in a white coat while I examined a patient. Nothing good happens at the gynecologist. Ever.
  17. i'm lost?? so you're getting a high mileage, used sti from kay jewelers for $2700?? these threads are all over the place. i'm still not sure wtf is going on. my advice is to find two extremely reliable cars--for the sake of having reliable transportation for your jobs and kids. spend as much as you can WIHTIN your budget to find the newest, lowest mileage car you can afford. if there's any disposable income left over, buy a project car on the cheap, and occupy your car fix by slowly bringing it back to glory
  18. lol complete moron ^^^^ driving the hellcat. reminds me of the dude in the z06 vette doing what he thinks is a burnout, but actually frying the clutch. i've considered the tesla
  19. Lol. The car is too fun not to drive it. I drove the nissan all day last summer. My kids now hate it, because they don't fit in the back, it doesn't have DVD players, and it is not comfortable. The kids easily fit in the caddy, and it is insanely comfortable to daily. I just need to add 100hp to make it a little more fun when the kids are not in the car. I've been on the fence for a while about selling a few cars to buy a new z06 or big boy Benz/Audi. I'll at least wait till next spring
  20. fuck it, you just convinced me to keep mine. and mod it. i didn't hardly drive it last year. time to add some fun factor and let that blower make a little noise
  21. for the price of a good set of winter tires/wheels, just get a winter beater. i still think the best money i ever spent on a car was my '90 grand prix. bought for $3k in 2000, its still going. i drove it from 70k miles to 150kmiles. did the head gaskets and gave it to my grandfather in 2006. he's had it since and put 20k miles on it
  22. I hate suture anchors. I just don't trust them, but they are commonly used. I would get it checked out. Maybe an MRI just to make sure you didn't partially rupture the tendon. You can have a near complete rupture and still function surprisingly well. Until it goes pop with some exertion
  23. ?? I'm assuming you ruptured your Achilles??? There are 1000 ways to fix and rehab an Achilles, but when I fix one I don't use suture anchors (they usually tear 2-3 cm from the heel) and I put people in a boot for three months.
  24. You may have tendinitis at the repair site---inflammation of the tendon. Once the tendon heals, the anchor is simply along for the ride. If it's proud, it could cause some irritation, but I'd be surprised if it was coming from the suture anchor.
  25. 1)how do you not have health insurance? 2)how do you not have health insurance? 3)why the fuck don't you have health insurance? You need to see a general surgeon to see if the mesh has become detached. Likely a ct scan or MRI. If you're wealthy and pay out of pocket for all medical expenses, that's great. Almost no one does that, though. With the abortion that is obamacare, theres really no excuse for not having insurance.
