  1. Pimp daddy caddy. Love my ctsv. Comfortable, great looking, sounds incredible with the cat back, and it's fast enough that I haven't modded it. I normally mod every single car I get---every one. I haven't felt the need to mod this car. It's perfect.
  2. chevy has a long track record of the incoming base model equaling the outgoing "special" model's performance. its nothing new. base c5 roughly equals c4zr1 base c6 = c5z06 base c7 = c6z06 c7z06 = c6zr1 dodge decides to add traction control, abs, 'special' alcantara leather packages, etc====bitching out on a car that "anyone who's driven a viper hard has either spun it out at freeway speeds, or is lying, and hasn't really driven it hard"
  3. Still not interested. Car sounds like shit, isn't what it was when it first came out. I agree they are trying to make it more like a corvette.
  4. She worked as a nurse before we had kids. She has a nursing license in Wisconsin and is interviewing for jobs. Lol. Can't wait to see her work a 12 hour shift and then come home and have to be a parent as well. The kids are going to run her ass into the ground. It's crazy how much I will end up paying her per month. Good news is that there likely won't be any alimony since she has a live in boyfriend. The whole concept is that the kids are entitled to the same lifestyle with each parent. Sad thing is that she won't spend the money on the kids
  5. Soon to be ex. Crazy how long a divorce can go on. I filed last January, and I don't see this ending in the next couple months. Certainly not cheap. But on the upside, I have 50% custody of my kids, which is remarkable considering what I do for a living. I still have all my cars, my house, and my pride/self respect. And a hot-ass girlfriend. I had to pay her a lot to get her out of my house (essentially bought her a 3500 sq ft house), and the child support is quite a bit, even with 50/50 custody.
  6. Gtr must have been in the wrong gear, driver error
  7. I won't even miss the ex-wife, with one of these. Even if it doesn't do too good of a job, it's still does a better job than she did. And a lot less expensive
  8. Looking good brother. Now it's time to up the calories a bit and hop on a bike (stationary or bicycle). You'll build some muscle and burn even more calories. All the while it's safe for your knees and back
  9. I like it. I've always liked the power/performance of the 911 turbos, but not a huge fan of the look. This thing has both
  10. I'm sorry for your loss bill. My deepest condolences.
  11. Hope she continues to improve. Keep your head up buddy.
  12. I can remember one time working as a fourth year surgical resident at children's hospital over the holidays. Busy as fuck. Non-stop. When I was on call (every third night) I was up all night working 30 hours in a row. Fucking hated it. They had rules against taking time off during the holidays. It was spelled out pretty clearly in an email like the one your boss sent out. Anyways, this osu resident pulled the same shit you're trying to pull. He said he had the flight booked way in advance, couldn't cancel, etc etc etc. the chief of the department caved, and let him have the week off. It put the other guy and myself on call every other night for 10 days straight, right through the holidays. Extra work on already stressed-out people. I've never wanted to kill someone more than I wanted to beat this guy senseless. We made the rest of his rotation living hell, and to this day I'd probably shit on his face if I could do so without any legal ramifications. I don't know if your vacation will have the same impact on your coworkers during the holiday season but it's something to consider if you plan on going back to work after your vacation
  13. Proud member of PETA here People Eating Tasty Animals Sounds like an awesome experience. Never hunted when I lived in Ohio, but people plan their lives around gun season here in Wisconsin.
  14. I'm game. Why not. I hated my gt500. Lots of butthurt over this car on svt performance
  15. Insert Thorne tuning comment here __________. J/k Congrats on the new purchase. I've always wondered if these were fast, or what potential they had
  16. +rep great intro. love the rat rod
  17. $13k tops ls2 or bust i traded my mint '05 into the stealership for $15k three years ago, with 25k miles. they sold it for $17.5k. this was a 25k mile car, and three years ago. it was MINT. that was a pretty good deal all around. i still miss the car dearly. the cts-v is awesome, but i almost prefer the GTO. sounds weird, doesn't it? that car is WAY overpriced broseph.
  18. i hear you. much healthier than being lazy, obese, smoking, etc.
  19. i thank you guys for all the future business. lol. i love fit women though.
  20. Thought about getting an ecoboost but decided to get a raptor instead. I've been thoroughly impressed by the truck. Love the Bluetooth, my sync, navigation, etc etc. the backseat is huuuuuge. My three kids have plenty of room too. The power is there. The sound is there. The gas mileage? 11.2 mpg, but I drive it like a madman. License plate::: UNHYBRD. I find myself just looking for shit to swerve into and hit with this thing. And I got it essentially for invoice, fully optioned out. Resale value is pretty good on these trucks should i decide to sell it. I'd never buy a Toyota truck. Just my opinion though
  21. anyone interested in a 'lightly used' c6z?
