correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe meyer has two girls either still in college, or recently out of college. he may not see it the same way, and that's literally all that matters in this case. be the bigger man and walk away, as hard as that may seem when 'swung on' first. in the pro's, you'd be fined $20k and maybe one game. in college, a move like that can literally ruin any possible nfl future---much higher stakes

Video doesn't look good ether way. Looks like she may have slapped him, the fake lunge, and then some sort of contact with her after she flinched. Hindsight is 20/20, but taking a swipe at a girl while you're walking away is never a good idea. It's one thing if she is completely in your face, not backing down, and is pursuing you. But she appeared to back down after he made the initial lunge. Easy to play armchair qb, but the video doesn't look particularly good for him.

not hard to believe. i recorded 27.5mpg on a 2.5 hour trip to chicago in my ls2 GTO, cruising on the freeway. why would it be hard to imagine a car weighing 400-500lbs less doing so, with a more efficient motor and much better aero. not sure how much my vette would get right now on the freeway, but the car has always been pretty good on gas

The c7z is likely a couple years away. I will no doubt get a c7 at some point. You can have a few years with a modded c6z and then flip it when/if the c7z proves itself to be awesome. Some have said this will be the last time gm throws together a big cube v8 that revs to 7k+

'08 or newer. And they can be had pretty cheap. Probably even cheaper once the c7 comes out. I say I won't get rid of mine but if the c7zr1 is epic, then I will likely part with mine. '08s got jetstream blue color, '09s got cyber grey and the bigger sump as stated. I don't know if you need the bigger sump. Here in Wisconsin, its a bit cooler and it takes forever for my oil temps to come up to 'operating' temperature. I have just under $10k in mine, and I have a mild cam, ported lsx intake, ported/milled heads with upgraded valve train, throttle body, full exhaust, and an ls9x clutch. Fully street able and 580rwhp.

Nothing I've ridden in before hits like a near-600rwhp 3150lb naturally aspirated c6z on the freeway in second gear. From 60-140 mph these cars simply roll out. My z makes similar power to the gtr and the vette will take it on the freeway, no doubt.

Sounds like a recipe for building your first motor and having some one fix it when it spins a bearing. I'll be the first to admit I've never built a bottom end, but I would think a machine shop should be an integral component of a successful first engine build. As stated, you want the cobra crank and rods. Get a good set of 20-over pistons and get the block machined.
