  1. you realize the MSRP on a brand new, 3lz z06 is over $80k don't you?? that's a $1200/month payment, give or take.
  2. lol. only in the auto industry can you actually NOT talk to the person who is going to be working on your car. so i have to depend on a third person to relay the problem correctly? lol at the op. i'd take the car somewhere else, and move on. or solve the problem yourself.
  3. i hate the sound of my SLP loudmouth on my foxbody. if you go with SLP, get the muffler version. i have the powerflow SLP mufflers and they sound great. i've also had great luck with bassani.
  4. bigger blower. honestly, if you want to increase the speed factor without adding more power, you should swap out the IRS for a solid (weight savings, suspension upgrades), and go with an auto.
  5. you'll have to excuse me if i don't regularly follow your ownership and modifications done on 100k mile p.o.s., gutted, shit-mobiles. i was looking at acr vipers, but maybe i'll just buy your car when you're done with it.
  6. so, your motor in someone else's car (totally different setup), with someone else driving, went 10.8?? but you've never run yours, don't have it together, but should be able to shit all over your neighbor's $100k+ viper?? just checking to make sure i have it correct.
  7. just a quick question or two:: when you fly on a plane, do you barge into the cockpit and ask the pilot what altitude he's going to fly at?? what course/heading?? do you demand to know how many hours of experience he/she has flying?? all the while you don't even remotely understand the first thing about how a plane works, let alone being able to comprehend anything about how to fly one. so you start a thread claiming that vaccines are linked to higher rates of cancer in the US, just because you've found some bullshit information on the internet. yet all the while you don't know the first thing about how a vaccine works, what it does in the body, or even how a vaccine is administered in the first place. you have no idea what cancer is, how many types of cancer there are, and the infinitely wide range in how these cancers develop and attack the body. if you're truly interested in learning how to fly the plane, i suggest you go to pilot (medical) school. judging by the fact that you can't get a simple math problem correct at the age of 27, you could potentially have some difficulty getting in/handling the coursework.:dumb:
  8. Search for the thread for just one of the many epic battles I had with that tard
  9. Congrats I've loved every minute of owning my z, and don't regret my wife buying it for me for one second. Enjoy it
  10. good looking car, from a previous GTO owner. loved the goat when i had one.
  11. i vote for paying them a visit, and asking them if they've had their cars vandalized too (play dumb). let them know you'll be on the lookout and offer to keep an eye on their place as well. tell them you plan on having a gun ready to blast on any idiot dumb enough to vandalize your place or any of your neighbor's homes/cars/etc. most people like this are utter cowards, and will stop. just a thought
  12. lol wonder what ever happened to him in hawaii. back massage anyone??
  13. pm replied to. tesner does a good job---he's sports specialist who does shoulder and knee. grant jones is the OSU basketball team doctor, and also does all the buckeye football players' shoulder surgeries. also, ken westerheide at cardinal does almost all shoulder injuries. both of them are conservative and will recommend non-operative treatment if it will help. if surgery ends up being necessary, there are no better surgeons in the city for sports-related shoulder issues----period.
  14. just saw his website. wtf??
  15. i have a 36" wide craftsman professional roll cart and love it after 10 years--$1,000 also have the 40" wide sams club upper and lower ball bearing combo kit---its quite big, but you can definitely tell its not as good as the craftsman. still, no problems after 7 years--$700 finally, bought a 36" wide cart from menards 2 years ago--think its a waterloo. quality feels great, but i barely ever use it, as its in our attached garage, where no car work takes place. bought it for around $300 if i recall, and it feels every bit as good as any of the sears. i agree with buying used if you want to maximize your potential, and have the patience/time to deal with craigslist scum
  16. Absolutely loved my '05. I owned it for 4 years and daily'd it in the summer. Not one issue with it. I had 275 nittos on the car and it hooked hard. With a catback, intake, and tune i hurt plenty of peoples' feelings
  17. If they do it, they better do it right. I've owned 3 gm irs cars and one from ford. Needless to say the irs is no longer in my cobra, and im having second thoughts about stuffing it in my new project
  18. i just sold an immaculate '05 manual GTO with 27k miles to the stealership for $15k, to get my caddy. it was a great car for sure---incredible daily driver and highway cruiser. i could pull 27mpg on the freeway. now, i average 15mpg at most on the freeway.

    Call out...

Pretty sure if i were you i'd spend less time trolling this site, and more time pulling my smashed up pos out of my front yard and monitoring my 'baby momma's' facebook usage. Just a thought. Maybe youre just that good at multi-tasking
  20. only true to some extent. trust me on this one, money can create just as many problems/arguments as it can solve. certainly, not having to worry about making payments, living month to month, etc. is a huge weight off one's shoulders. i was just as happy back when i was a poor grad student, and for the 6 years after grad school when i didn't make shit. now that i can buy/have pretty much anything i want, i've realized material things are not necessarily the key to happiness (for me, at least). i always thought that they would be--i imagined 12-15 muscle cars, huge house, boats, walking around with $5k in my wallet at all times. i realized quickly, that this was not going to be the key to my happiness. i enjoy just hanging out with my kids/wife, and puting money away.
  21. how do you measure success?? money?? good looking wife?? stable career?? meaningfull job?? healthy, happy family?? or being able to nail nearly everything with a heartbeat (supermodels)?? for those wanting kids, marriage is essential in my opinion, for many reasons. i spent plenty of time in college, and then grad school being 'single'---it was a blast, trust me. but it did get old. i wanted a family, stability, a partner. if you truly think you need to be single and childless to get 6 or even 7 figure w2's, then you read the wrong book buddy. if you think 6 or 7 figure w2's is the absolute key to happiness, then guess what, you read a fiction book. some people are ready for marriage now, some later, and some never. figure out which category you fit into, and move along.
