  1. Justin is a good dude, but it would probably be $125 just for the adjustment. Even then I may have to do it again to fine tune the height later. I think I’ll just use the no-compressor method of undoing the top nut and lowering the LCAs to release tension. Just was wanting to avoid undoing perfectly put-together coilovers. Again, if anyone has one in a barn / shop not governed by hourly rates, somewhere let me know.
  2. Pickups Plus is Lewis Center was the better location of theirs right? I work right near them. Of course I made the thread hoping someone had one at home. Knew a guy when in Virginia that did... man that was convenient!
  3. Yeah they are usually my go to. Called last week about a CV problem and they said booked till Jan or something. Granted I think they just didn’t want that particular job so it’s probaby worth a try.
  4. That looks like a bit of a haul, though to clarify the post, I’m not looking for free help. One idea might be to actually put em on the truck, compress suspension, Set compressor, strap, something? ...then let it droop and see if that keeps them compressed. From there spin the ring up.
  5. Rented spring compressors. They don’t fit right being those weird cast things and I’m going to throw in the towel before I kill myself. Picked up some new coilovers for the FJ which only adjust at the bottom spring perch. They are pretty entry-level. 600# springs. Have to compress the spring to spin the adjuster. They come set at 2” of lift and I would like to spin them up a tad to aim for 3” That said, does anyone have a wall-mounted compressor that could help me out? I’m hesitant to just call some random shops who might not keep the bottom strut mount aligned, ect. Plus I was going to adjust them both differently to combat Toyota lean. Thanks!
  6. I feel like if it had a bow tie on the front instead of the CHEVROLET, it wouldnt be half-bad. Even though I'd never even think about a GM truck, I'd never be in the market either way.
  7. LOL. 4WD Six-wheel Jeep. Just hauling around an extra pair of 35's
  8. My good friend always got hooked up by Ricart of all places. He took his 2013 F150 in last year, no warranty, and they put on new headers due to them leaking under some TSB (something like that, dont quote me lol). I figure most places might charge diagnostics, but its pretty hit or miss as I am sure you are prepared for.
  9. I've read the base Sport model will be around $35K.
  10. Yeah, but the Ridgeline is a Honda Accord with a bed. This is a solid axle body on frame truck....
  11. I also just realized it really gives a phenomenal spot to actually put a Roof-top-tent on a Jeep. Could still go topless and camp up high using a bed-rack.
  12. THE Andersons? Those closed last year. Military people are your best bet. There are a few locations around here if you know any other local folks. Probably not worth a drive to Cleveland...youd save what, $2-10 max per bottle. Might just need to bite the bulliet and just restock lol
  13. I want one for offroading. The JKU was superior to the regular Jeep with the extra length, and this would be even better....Like how the Tacomas wheelbase helps compared to my FJ. Would just make for an insanely expensive offroader. Would have to get the Rubicon, then all the other goodies like a rear bumper to protect that massive overhang.
  14. Well fuck me. That is awesome. Bet its closer to 50 grand seeing as a JL Rubi is just over 40
  15. One other consideration....those tires are OLD AS FUCK. 2008.
  16. Did they really pay back the bailout? Thought I saw that somewhere.
  17. Looks like you tried to drive it? So they only interfere barely? If you have enough lug thread engagement you likely could just grab some of the universal ones from a parts store...like: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/dorman-autograde-5-lug-wheel-spacers-5-16-in-thick-45-in-55-in-bc-diameter-2-pack-711-914/10120493-P?searchTerm=wheel+spacer Really looks like you could just grind the caliper mount down a touch and be good.
  18. Nah, bruh, I'm keepin the wheels... https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/l-Used-BMW-3-Series-d1512?sourceContext=facebook&utm_campaign=remarket&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=facebook#listing=222563089
  19. Might finally be able to get a roof rack with a normal size garage door! (house beyond not mine, but pretty awesome) I do like this shot of 'er though.
  20. 1. AWESOME. 2. Not a Mini Cooper, though I get "8 second Drag car" doesnt have the same ring to it.
  21. My wife does the exact same thing. I'm still happy he won the election. He's still an idiot.
  22. First I have seen of this. What happened? Was it just flying through the air so unable to slow down any? Or was is going full speed and not braking for some reason?
