I like leather one for outside and one for inside. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/DSC_0354_op_640x425holster.jpg http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/DSC_0363_op_800x531.jpg

What type of 1911 are you working on ? Does it have a heavy trigger pull right now that you do not like ?
-
I want to go but Im so beat right now. I have been mulching a large office building for the last 3 days and just finished today. Just finished eating actually. I know man up right.

I like all animals but at one time I had 3-4 cats around my house that were most likely just dropped off since I live out of town. One was a mean mother . They never left I never fed them. I got tired of them leaving dead mice parts on my front porch. I decided to relocate them down the road. I dropped one off probably 2 miles a away and it came back. I gave my self the title of being an equal opportunity cat displacement officer.

Take action and respond to others as you would want for your self. So rather you believe in the word Karma or not it does not matter. Actions speaks louder then words. Now its time for me to go save the world.

Actually I dont see a big need for glow in the dark or night sights on a pistol, if I need to use my gun in the pitch dark say a bedroom invasion for an example I would not be taking a lot of time to line up sights, it would be more of a point and shoot situation. Im not going to have the time to take looking at the sites aim and fire. This is where practicing your point and shooting close quarters will pay off. Where talking about just a few feet when this would occur. Just my 2 cents worth about night sights.

My gun would have to be custom milled to fit those type and most likely require a refinish afterwards $$$ . Im use to these types. I have owned probably half a dozen 1911 types and all have had the 3 dot basic except for the gold cups which had adjustable target sights which Im not a fan of. Nice gun you have their.

Looks like I will be practicing in my back yard for this. Better warn the neighbors now.

My 3 dot sights were brown from age so I decided to try something new. You could hardly see the dot before this. With my old camera it's hard to get a good picture. Some of you guys that were at the sunday funday meet might remember what they looked like. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc178/1fstws6/000_1487.jpg

Had a great time Kyle and thanks again ,meeting up with everyone and of course shooting each other's guns. Next time I will bring a power spring loaded foot operated clay thrower that will throw 1-3 clays at a time.

Our wives need to become closer friends, lol. My birthday on may 1st. You must be doing something right for your wife to get you a nice little present like that.
-
That sounds great. I use to be able to shoot at my place but I have a new house that was built in back of me .
-
I need to pick me up some. If your gun can feed gold dots it will feed most everything else out their.

I just bought a few boxes of this to try out. Im experimenting with different types. This is one of the best hollow points out their for reliability and performance in a 45acp. I bought a few extra boxes to make it worth the shipping. If anyone is interested in two boxes (25) per box I would trade them for some other hollow points. I want to try out some different brands so if you want to try these out and have some to trade let me know.

Im waiting on a couple of new magazines for my 45. I should have them by friday. See how the weather is by then also.
-
Sounds good. The next nice weekend I plan on going with a 1911 45 and an old Remington bolt action 22 and what ever else I can round up. I love shooting trap. I have my grandfathers homemade clay thrower that you stand on and you have a pedal to release the clay after you load it and it hold 1-3 at a time if I remember correctly, he made it a long time ago and sits on a small platform like 4 feet square, its a neat little set up.

I was their a long time ago. Has anyone been their recently, like last year. I don't know when they open up. I like shooting outside.
-
Cover your ass. Im selling this whatever as is as described. No returns.

This year I expanded my business to include lawn fertilizing. I have a 5 app program. All products are Lesco Brand. Many of the larger companies are now pushing 6 even 7 apps to get your money. 5 is all you need. 400.00 a year puts you at a pretty big yard around 18,500 -19,000 sq ft x 5 = roughly 400 bucks with my price estimates. Is you yard that large. One thing I tell my customers that are concerned about their grass color and condition is that their are a many varieties of grass and they all respond in a different way to the weather and soil type. So you its hard to compare your yard to your neighbors yard down the block. This is my program. Depending on your yard this might be altered. 1. First Application - Early Spring includes a dry slow release fertilizer 19-0-6with Deminsion crabgrass preventer. Weed control if needed. 2. Second Application - Late Spring includes a dry slow release fertilizer with weed control. 3. Third Application - Early Summer includes a dry slow release fertilizer with insect control (includes grubs) and weed control. 4. Fourth Application - Late Summer includes dry slow release fertilizer and weed control. 5. Fifth Application - Fall includes a slow release winterizing fertilizer

I know how much work this involves. I removed them from my old WS6. I got lucky on the Z06 it was ordered with none or I would have been taking them off. Looking good their.

Lightweight is what I would want in a pocket pistol . 45 would be a little to heavy in my opinion. http://pocket-defense.com/2010/03/ruger-lcp-380-review-vs-kel-tec-p3at/

How do these two compare ? Amsoil 5w-40 vs Redline 5w-40 I would like to know which one hold to its 40 weight the best after a few miles. I have read many times that German Castrol which is a 30 weight is actually closer to a 40 which is why I might start using it. I have around 4000 miles on the 5 40 amsoil in the Z06 and it looks pretty clean and its still at the same level on the dip stick. Im just curious about what oil keeps its 40 weight the best.

General Tso's on Godown just north of Bethel pork egg rolls are pretty dam good. They actually put pork in them and not all cabage like most.
