Spring 2012 Drag Day - SOLD OUT
atomicfusion1647545515 replied to MrMeanGreen's topic in CR Track Days
I am pretty sure that we will be doing our first round of testing on the new setup at this rental... -
I shoot sporting clays and trap. I started with an 870 and quickly upgraded to a benelli montefeltro. A semi auto is nice and will be less abusive after 100+ rounds. I tried an over under and didn't like it as much as the semi auto. If you go up to Blackwing you can rent each style and see what you like best.

Originally was over $5k when purchased new, but my kids have outgrown it. So For sale.... $1500 OBO http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7086/7001188231_f962d9f8b9.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7177/7001185577_73eb0f87b7.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7104/6855066832_bdf4997076.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7131/7001182669_d9114c6de2.jpg

I have a pretty big setup that my kids have outgrown. I bought it from Buckeye Back Yards and it was bought new by me. http://www.buckeyebackyards.com It has a Slide, Rock Wall, Playhouse, Deck, Slide pole, Large stair/ladder, 2 standard swings, and 1 2 person swing toy, a tire swing underneath and monkey bars. I'll try to get the wife to send me some pictures at work. This is NOT your WalMart/Sams cheapy unit.. It is real wood and high quality. It is in great shape but could use a fresh coat of stain.

I say real dumb, fake blonde. People are really that stupid... <Insert any example of how our Government works to prove my point here>

I'll take one for $20 (prefer blue) but doesn't matter.

Diamond Pistons Double Coating Diamond Pistons uses a new piston coating formula that combines heat-resistance with a friction-reducing coating. By combining hard-coat anodizing with a moly-skirt coating, Diamond’s double coating provides a thermal barrier and increases both corrosion resistance and wear resistance, while deterring piston rings from micro-welding themselves to the ring grooves. Diamond’s moly-skirt coating uses molybdenum dry-film lubricant to provide an anti-friction, anti-scuffing surface to free up power.

Headers are both done... http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/431769_341021802617453_100001289075433_1041379_1946680445_n.jpg And it looks like it is time to start wiring the car! http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/419935_341013625951604_100001289075433_1041368_933680144_n.jpg http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/420815_341013595951607_100001289075433_1041367_2003977593_n.jpg

The new headers are 2.125 outer 2" inner and the flanges are much better steel than the tubing... Do "I" make money on the car, no, I don't even cover expenses when I win a race... My best race win was $5k and I still lost money at that event (of course it was in Florida) All the shops that help me make money off the car, that encourages them to help me more at best. But I didn't start racing to make money. No, I don't need a mask *serious* it really isn't all that bad on the launches, maybe this year will be different. as for the welds, the cage was done by Holt Race Cars and they are beyond good when it comes to cages... they actually build MUCH faster cars than mine, (pro mods and stuff like that) , so I really am not too worried about the welds. Hope that answers all your questions.

It was a good day for the delivery guy today.... Is it just the Saturday races or the Friday Heads up series races? The Friday series has 6 second cars in it... I can't see why you wouldn't be allowed in that one.

Right now I would say yes, but I can't give a definitive until Callies finishes my crank. 3610 was the weight at the last race of the year... we were lighter for the 1 race with the ERL motor, but you saw how fast I pulled that out... This year we have taken a LOT of weight out of the car and will actually have to ballast up to min weight. I really wish you guys could race that series... reguardless of all the shit talking I think your car is a really nice ride and would love another car in that series. I finished 3rd in the points that series last year and didn't even make it to the last race. Don King can talk all the shit he wants, but I would love to race your car at IFO if we get it done in time. If not, I am sure we will see it at the 2nd IFO race as well as the Import vs Domestic race. Congrats on your new power level and best times, those are great accomplishments and will serve as nice 2nd place markers here on Columbus Racing.
