Had a lot of fun. We found some good roads, though there was quite a bit of traffic, so we couldn't hit the twisties as hard as we wanted. My STI was just begging for more. I'll say this though, Amy is freakin' Whoudini. When we pulled up to Old Man's Cave, I saw her in my rearview as we passed the crosswalk, but not 100 yards down where we parked, she was gone! *poof* That's some skillz.

LOL, at 00:55 the navigator is checking his pace notes to figure out what happened, while upside down! What's interesting is all the different ways they crashed. Makes me think the spectators may have been doing something leading up to the corner to cause the crashes. People have been known to dig ditches and bury logs on the Dakar Rally route to cause crashes. Here's another corner that was giving people trouble. Or maybe it was a professional parking competition.

I wasn't planning on picking up a PS3, but I have one. Why? I needed a Blu-Ray player. I figured I could find just a player. Turns out a new 60gb PS3 is cheaper than an *Open Box* blu-ray player.

If it's anything like the other GT games, it'll come out when it comes out. That's why I'm not holding my breath.

I think I'll try to get out there. I'd like to baseline the STI.

Paddy had been drinking at his local Dublin pub all day and most of the night celebrating St Patrick's Day. Mick, the bartender says, " You'll not be drinking anymore tonight Paddy." Paddy replies, "OK Mick, I'll be on my way then." Paddy spins around on his stool and steps off. He falls flat on his face. "Shoite" he says and pulls himself up by the stool and dusts himself off. He takes a step towards the door and falls flat on his face. "Shoite, Shoite!" He looks to the doorway and thinks to himself that if he can just get to the door and some fresh air he'll be fine. He belly crawls to the door and shimmies up to the door frame. He sticks his head outside and takes a deep breath of fresh air, feels much better and takes a step out onto the sidewalk and falls flat on his face. "Bi, Jaysus... I'm fockin' focked," he says. He can see his house just a few doors down, and crawls to the door, hauls himself up the door frame, opens the door and shimmies inside. He takes a look up the stairs and says "No fockin' way". He crawls up the stairs to his bedroom door and says "I can make it to the bed." He takes a step into the room and falls flat on his face. He says "Fock it" and falls into bed. The next morning, his wife, Jess, comes into the room carrying a cup of coffee and says, "Get up Paddy. Did you have a bit to drink last night?". Paddy says, "I did Jess. I was fockin' pissed. But how'd you know?" "Mick phoned... You left your wheelchair at the pub!"

I'll be there. The STI looks a little less Stock, so I won't feel so out of place this time. Though the big changes won't happen until next year.

Wow, I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger on a Sky Redline I testdrove. Seems like the standalone ECU market will be big for those cars.

I think they go REALLY rich under boost. I testdrove one from a dealership and on the 1-2 shift at WOT I could get a pretty good gunshot from the exhaust. I can't even do that with my Stage 1 STI.

Chrome pulls the eyes away from the car. Go for gunmetal. Black rims are for me.

You can get DFT HERE. Though IBM owns Hitachi, for some reason it's only on the Hitachi website. Sorry. If you want a whole set of tools, get the UBCD.

Goto IBM and drownload DFT (Drive Fitness Test). Do the full test and if it comes up red, pitch that HDD.

She was up there. I'd give her an 8/10. Hot, but seen better. I still think that was 3 beers, not 2.

When I was talking to Brian last night, it got me thinking I should at least benchmark the STI even if I don't plan on drag racing it. So I'll load in a Launch Control map and see what it'll do. They require helmets for sub 13.00 right?

Wow, big jumps in classes.. Class D right now, but after going Stage 2 and a Protune, I'll be... Umm.. Class D. Maybe in the future i'll end up Class C, but that's years off.
