1st year with AWD, and I still have my previous RWD. I'm hoping for a LOT of snow! Just hold off until the 1st week of December. I'm going back to MA for a couple weeks around Thankgiving and there are some roads I want to hit with the summers still on. That reminds me.. Anyone know if the local SCCA clubs put on any snowcross events? Damn that would be fun.

Nice, they have blue inserts too and can come in taller versions. I'd prefer a recliner, but those are nice and the price is good. Cobras seem to have a good reputation as well.

The stock seats in the STI are known for their overly bouncy nature. I'm starting to upgrade the suspension and already it's beginning to make the bounciness (a.k.a. "Bobblehead") more evident. The Recaro Speeds are an option I'm interested in because they will have an OEM look if ordered with the blue insert. The problem is that I'm a big guy, and some racing seats just won't fit me. So I was wondering if anyone had Recaro Speeds that I could sit in? Thanks.

If you're not intoxicated, go ahead and do the brethalyzer. But if you are, it's better not to, unfortunately. I forgot to mention, you know what ALSO isn't admissable in court (i.e. can't even be MENTIONED)? Previous DUI arrests. If some guy's been picked up 10 times for DUI, the jury won't know it and will only be dealing with the arrest in question as if it was his only one. I guess the moral of the story is, if you see a drunk driver on the road, run him off and hope he totals his car and kills himself.

Because it's nigh impossible to convict someone of it. I sat on a jury in a DUI case, we had to let him go because there was too much doubt. You know what really sucks? If you decline a breath test, it's completely inadmissable in court. Not just that you declined it, but that it was EVEN OFFERED AT ALL! Drunk drivers piss me off. Good on the girls for calling 911. A friend of mine had a great bumper sticker: Driving Drunk? Take off your Seatbelt!

Yeah, I think the wireless guitar isnt' as accurate. I was having a hell of a time doing The Metal on hard and I *knew* I was hitting the notes. So I plugged in my GH2 guitar and blew through the song. I replaced the batteries in the wireless controller (just got it yesterday!) and it was much better. But it still feels a little less accurate. Which is kinda depressing because I think the PS2 GH2 controller is more accurate than the 360 GH2 controller.

I showed up.. Got one run in because I couldn't get a hold of a helmet before. But that's ok, I wasn't looking to do much. Not that I did much anyways. I was asleep at the tree, cut a 1.9 60' (in an AWD car with Launch Control!) and got a 13.9. Blah. I don't think I could have done worse. At least I beat the mustang that was next to me.

Just picked it up and played it straight through on medium to unlock all the songs.. Damn this is good. I love the new guitar. *knock on wood* but mine doens't seem to have any issues. The first couple sets were .. ehh .. but then they just got better and better. Unfortunately, now my fingers are just fumbling all over the place so I can't go back and try some of the songs a second time. I really want to try Dragonforce on medium with fresh fingers.

Well considering how often they seem to break, judging by this thread, I'd put my money on the LS1. The DSM will probably fall apart while waiting for the green. Frankly though, the F-Bodys take to mods well, and with so much displacement a little mod goes a long way without impacting reliabilty in the slightest. The DSMs are good cars, but any turbocharged application is going to be running closer to the reliability line than N/A. So mods will tend to push it over that line much easier.
