  1. Well they're here. The ever-so-slight concave improves their look 100x over the usual high-offset RPF1.
  2. It's looking like 265/35-18 Dunlop Z2 tires. But for a bit more I can stay with the AD08s. However, they aren't the new AD08R which has a comparable compound to the Dunlop. Not that the current compound AD08s suck in any way.. R-S3s tend to have soft sidewalls, so aren't really what I want. The RE11 is a good tire, but being a little superficial here, I prefer the look of directional tires over asymmetric.
  3. Yes. For one thing, the good tires don't come with smaller sidewalls. And another, I don't want a paint-smear for tires. I want ultimate grip from them, and having some sidewall helps. These things are going to look monstrous on this car.
  4. How dare he point out the flaws in your trolling.
  5. Well, choice #1 and #2 were not available. But I have a set on the way. And the winner is: Enkei RPF1 in matte black 18x9.5+38 http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/Angelo-6.JPG http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/AngOnCar-7.JPG If I get bored of them in a year or two, I may have them powdercoated some skittles color.
  6. I think Crawford has BOV/BPV-less systems for the EJ engine.
  7. So Much Hate in this thread. Loving it.
  8. This was the catless dart that was running so rich it looked like a diesel?
  9. Nice. Have fun with it!
  10. If only someone would come in and save Detroit from it's financial ruin.... http://www.wallsoc.com/images/800x600/2012/08/02/-robocop-ocp-logo-by-derekfrost-d2yk7s8-why-no-omni-consumer-8230-642060.png
  11. Well, the black NT03s aren't available. They are coming, but the last two times I've waited for wheels they've been months overdue. So I'm not doing that again. *grumble*
  12. Just got done cleaning the car... those RGD wheels are looking mighty easy to clean right now. LOL
  13. I had them on my STI and loved them. But they are very expensive. Money that goes towards the wheels comes out of the coilover budget. In the Subaru world, I think gold/bronze is a bit overdone. Gunmetal is a possibility, but not available on these wheels. I could have WheelMedic take a shot at them, but that will bump the cost up another $500 or so.
  14. It's sitting in my garage right now. Just have to get some other mods done first.
  15. this is eating into my Vette savings.. but hey.. BLOWER! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=43502&stc=1&d=1373390489
  16. Weds will be sold. The GF gave the NT03s in black her vote.
  17. I'm not going that low, but I will end up a bit lower than I am now.
  18. Wheels! The BRZ's getting a quick lipo and a booster shot of torque in the upcoming month. When all's said and done, it should have about the same or more power to the ground as the STI, but through only two wheels instead of four. So I don't think the 235s will be up to the task. Time for some serious (for this car) tires. I'm planning to squeeze a full set of 265s under the fenders. But I'll need something wider than my current 17x8s to hold them. And there are already a few choices: First contender! Enkei RPF1 in matte black 18x9.5+38 http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/Angelo-6.JPG http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/AngOnCar-7.JPG Pros: Inexpensive Lightest weight Clears big brakes Buisness-like appearance due to track popularity Cons: Ugly Looks an inch smaller than it is Not sure I want a black-on-black car again Next up: Enkei NT03+M in White 18x9.5+40 http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/nt03_wht_01_425x283.jpg Pros: Inexpensive Lighter Track-cred :lolguy: Look cool Cons: Will not clear big brakes Tough to keep clean And another: Enkei NT03+M in black 18x9.5+40 http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r237/spunautosports/PART_1326481577706.jpg http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/proricandc5/SagBridge6.png http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/proricandc5/AFbrz1_01.png Pros: Inexpensive Lighter Track-cred :lolguy: Look cool Cons: Will not clear big brakes Not sure I want another black on black car Fourth possibility: Advan RGD 18x9.5+40 in black http://i52.tinypic.com/30j094j.jpg http://brz.ridedomain.com/passenger.jpg http://brz.ridedomain.com/front_driver.jpg Pros: Haz Lip Clears big brakes Cons: Expensive, so less money for coils Haven't decided if black is the choice, but gold certainly isn't And a staggered option for shits and giggles: Work Emotion XD9 18x9+38, 18x10+38 in white http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7263/7845619596_b54bffc008_b.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7845620264_4714317d60_b.jpg Pros: Dat lip! White on black is shouty Cons: Heavy, will undo the benefits of flywheel and CFDS Will possibly need too much camber to fit, or slightly stretched tires So let the brouhaha begin!
  19. They look better than the wheels you have on it now, so I say go for it.
  20. Gonna be dodging cones. Good luck and have fun!
  21. That was another battle. I think the converted value of the battle that triggered was something like $120K. The gaming media loves to report on huge EVE losses because the in-game value is easily found and can be converted directly to real-world currency. Additionally, unlike most other games of this scale, when something in EVE blows up, it's gone for good.
