Anyone had negative results in a high milage engine? My miata is pushing 170k miles, and while I'm sure seafoam would clean up a lot of gunk, I'm afraid it might clean up a little too much (in the form of old rubber seals, etc).

Since I conquered land and sea with my first pick, my second pick will conquer land and air... http://library.creativecow.net/articles/wilson_tim/iphone/flyingcar.jpg

Best color  Sounds like a great deal... I would have definitely expected to get more than that if/when I sell. -

Nice, what color? Out of curiosity, do you mind telling me what kind of deal you got? I may be selling this summer, so I'm curious what I might be able to get... -
I decided last night that it's time to put together a little driving simulator. I thought I would check to see if anyone had one of these laying around that they aren't using anymore, and would like a little extra cash instead. Anyone?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I routinely get 32+ mpg on the highway. As was stated above, it does nothing amazing, but it does just about everything well. -

I've had an 04.5 GLI as my daily for the last two years. I've been pretty happy with it. Not the fastest car in the world to say the least, but it can get out of its own way when you need it to. Suspension is sporty and firm, but not rock hard. 40 series 18" tires aren't the most comfortable thing in the world, but again, sporty looks and feel. The interior is what I really love. it's hard for a skinny guy like me to find supportive seats, but the recaro's really hold me in place. If you have any other questions, let me know. Oh, and everything I have is always for sale http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/KTV_5545sm.jpg -
I'd buy it, but I'll probably just turn my rope backwards instead

I hope to god she takes it. $1mil should keep her off government dime for at least a year or two...

Took over for his dad on Win, Lose or Draw?

Does it start with Port Co and end with Lumbus Airport?

Heh, you're telling me. Once the new Bridgestones are released next week I'll be able to make a decision and order in plenty of time. Glancing over last years results, it looks like you and Beerman should have a pretty good battle in EM.

Can't wait to get back out there... although my new wheels are currently tireless

My take is that... 1) some broke-dick took it to a body shop, got it fixed and could not pay 2) body shop kept the car in payment for the bills 3) body shop sold to OP to recoup losses in body work 4) OP is selling car If this thing comes out with a clean title, this is a heck of a deal. Can you post more pics? And also details on any rust...

Let's see, 396/8 = 49.5 lb.ft. I should be around 100hp/90lb.ft so no, you are wrong. My powerhouse makes about what 2 of his cylinders make, not 1. Sucker.

I assume the cam and heads are ASP legal? Also, your dyno graph starts higher than my miata makes total :asshole:

Certainly not all my problems... "Well doc, I've got this cough, and my throat is sore. Also, I need to slalom a little smoother, and I'm getting a lot of wheel spin on corner exit."

Whelp, after living in Columbus for 2 years, I guess it's finally time to get a general practice (family) doctor for myself. Looking for reccomendations from anyone. I'd like one in the Dublin area so that I can get there quickly from my office. The only other location I would consider is in the Henderson/Bethel area, which is near my apartment. Anyone have any good offices to look into?

I have a miata that is setup pretty darn well suspension-wise, and driving my brother's s2k blows it out of the water (although I would never tell him that, haha). I have never driven any other car that feels like it. I know it sounds cliche, but you really feel connected with the road. The car just communicates through the steering wheel every single thing that is going on. It is truly a driver's car. As far as people ragging on the torque... it certainly doesn't blow the tires off at 3k rpm, but I never felt like it was really underpowered by any means during daily driving. I know, people are thinking "but you drive a miata, what do you know about any power." For comparison's sake, I recently test drove an 06 civic si, and felt like it was really bad at low rpm, so I do know what a honda engine feels like when it is lagging. Also, my DD is a 1.8T jetta, which has no topend, but has adequate low end for me to compare the s2k to. Like I said, city driving in the s2k is perfectly comfortable, with no need to wind it out. With my love fest over... if you want a year round DD, I don't think this is your car. It has decent creature comforts, but in my opinion, is just a little too "raw" for a DD. Of course this differs from person to person, but I think the s2k is a PERFECT second car. However, I would get a little tired of it if I had to drive it a decent distance every day.

That one girl got a pretty mighty slap, followed by a kick to the head, which I found to be pretty awesome... -

Imagine how fast he would be if his shorts would stay pulled-up by themselves -
But, if you are ignorant, who's fault is it? If I shit in a bag, draft up a document saying exactly what it is, and sell it to someone for $50 after they sign said document, am I at fault? I'm tired of consumers getting a free pass using the "well I didn't know any better" excuse. If I have a business, I should be able to do WHATEVER I want, within the confines of the law, to make as much money as possible. It's just like the payday lending bill that passed. Who is the government to tell a business what is an OK interest rate? If it is too high and unfair, then no one will take the loan. If there is a market, then a business should be allowed to maximize their profit. At what point does the president step in and tell McDonalds that their quarter pounder costs too much? Of course, I do understand that in the case of these loans, there is also a responsibility of the lender to make loans that they know will get paid back. In that case, I think that if a business makes bad loans that are defaulted, too bad so sad, your business is going to fail. All of the government crap stepping in is BS... that goes for the government programs enstated by Clinton, or whoever, as well as their involvement bailing shit out.

So I agree whole-heartedly that these banks were screwed up, and it is their fault... but... I love how the people getting the loans are look on as just innocent bystanders in all of this, like they deserve to be helped. If I am Joe Blow making $35k a year, and I tell a bank I make $200k so that I can get a loan, aren't I just as liable as they are? Am I so wrong in thinking that NO ONE deserves any help here?

And the awesome part is, the more the politicians think they need to unfuck it, the more fucked it becomes. So much fun!
