  1. Filing to ammend my 2008 taxes and get my $8k refund. Has anyone on here done this? I found an article online saying that you have to submit a new 1040 along with the 1040X, but it doesn't say anything about that on the IRS site or on the 1040X form. All I can find on the form is that I need to submit the 1040X and the 5405. Anyone have any experience?
  2. Hines Ward is a piece of shit. Voted (by NFL players) as the dirtiest player in the NFL. There is nothing I love more than to see that grinning shithole lose. EveryoneOtherThanTheBills>Browns
  3. Oh yeah, I saw them at the patio about a month ago. Didn't know their name at the time, but commented to multiple people that they were one of the best cover bands I had ever seen.
  4. I was going to post the same thing... monoprice ftw!

    WTB: Washer

If you can hold out for a few weeks, Sears' black Friday ad has a Kenmore front load washer AND matching dryer for I think $550. Normally the washer itself is over $600...
  6. WWTND (what would ted nugent do)? (good part starts at about 1:50)
  7. So is the weed eater and mower gone?
  8. I was thinking the same thing... a closer throws 3 outs 4 times a week. This is exactly why I always liked individual sports better than team. I want to be in control of everything that happens... although... I could have played D1 golf if I just had someone else to putt for me.
  9. I read a few months ago that Walgreens was pulling them off the shelves because people were screaming "racist."
  10. Did anyone else click on this thread because they expected pictures of a goddess looking chick in a pool (preferably in a swimsuit)? Just sayin... Oh, nice win? I know nothing about serious pool.
  11. I'll be there... with the top up and the heat on :thumbdown
  12. What an incredibly odd compilation of stuff. Where did this stuff/place come from?
  13. x2 for the Direzza Star Spec. It is the tire to have on the heavy cars in street tire classes (autox). I also definitely recommend the new Bridgestone RE-11's. It's what I run on the miata, and I've heard they work equally as well on heavier cars. More grip than basically any street tire out there. You can't go wrong with either of those choices.
  14. Redbox ftw. Blockbuster is the biggest ripoff known to man. I'm surprised the government hasn't tried to limit them like they did payday lending
  15. Just because the TV has component inputs does not mean it can display an HD signal. Your 4:3 TV is getting a 1080i or 720p signal (which are both 16:9 resolutions), and is shitting on itself because it doesn't know what to do with it.
  16. LOL at your toolbox being worth more than I paid for my miata
  17. Yes you do  Too bad you couldn't get these before the governor's cup...
  18. "And we're also urging americans to stop taking meth, and to stop getting tweaty bird tatoo's."
  19. Yeah, that's the one. It was definitely a fun car. I only had it for about 9 months, and a decent amount of that was spent sitting on my parents back porch while I was at college (see pics below), haha. I sold it to some kid, who I believe totaled it a few months later. It did inspire me to buy a second crx a year or so later though http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/IM000256.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f122/jjschafe/IM000257.jpg
  20. Holy crap, I recognize this name. Sorry to go off-topic, but did I buy a BEAT red crx from you like 6 years ago? Ha, no real point in this post, just reminiscing
  21. Must... not... use... money saved for house downpayment on corvette...
  22. Home Depot says it is online only... I did find that one on amazon for $88 though, so that seems like a good deal. Nice. I looked at harbor freight, but I searched for borescope, and the cheapest one was like $200. Thanks for the help guys...
  23. Any house inspector I have ever heard of does "cosmetic only." Meaning, if it is behind a wall, he can't inspect it. I will be requesting him to see behind some finished basement walls, and therefore would need to give him the tools to do so. The other option would be to cut a 6" hole between every stud and look in, but that is just a little aggressive in my opinion
  24. So I put this in the parking lot because I need this to see behind a wall, not to see into an engine. Long story short, I have been negotiating a house, and if it goes into contract, I want/need a borescope to see behind the finished basement walls in order for the inspector to inspect the foundation. Does anyone have one I could borrow for a day or two?
  25. Sounds like totally different criteria. It takes 10x the $$$ to get into an Indian Hill house than Westerville. There's a big difference between "great community to live" and "so rich the criminals can't climb over the walls to get in."
