Rapid Signs, in Pickerington. My friend's dad owns it. They changed locations recently so I hope it's still called that....
  4. Don't really need the .22, as I have two already, but I'm having a surprising amount of difficulty finding info on it... Might be interested I guess, but so far I fail at learning about it.

  6. Again I'll say it...awesome. I'd love to one day put a 12 valve cummins in a crown victoria or grand marquis. I have no idea how feasible it would be, but this REALLY makes me want to eventually try it. Damn.
  7. Backspacing? Wondering for a friend with a maxima....
  8. I had 4 done at once. It's not too bad. The pain is all but gone in two days, and you'll be on some pretty good painkillers anyway. You have to be careful what you eat for while though. You will likely also have to remove stuck food particles from the "holes" left in your gums for a week or so. They give a syringe ( not a needle ) to spray water in there and basically pressure-wash anything out that could stick in there, heal over, and cause infection. Don't worry too much about it.
  9. In case you missed it, this fits the price range.... http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61510
  10. Damn that's not bad at all. HP seems a little low, but that torque is BEAST. I suppose that's probably the advantage of the 24 valve over the 12? Great project.
  11. Tried that too, the numbers are apparently randomly generated and difficult to trace from what I've read. The call won't go through if you call back.
  12. I do generally, friendo, like I said. But I was sitting at the computer between classes today with nothing better to do when they called.
  13. I'd like to do that, but I occasionally get calls from out of state branches for work. I prefer not to ignore them, so I'm stuck.
  14. If you read the article i linked... "....Illegal because many of them blatantly violate the Federal Do Not Call Registry."
  15. So, for the past probably 2 or 3 months it seems like I get these calls on my cellphone. They're always from some random not local area code. I believe today's was 501 area code, but usually it's 704 I think ( not 740 ). For what it's worth my service is through Verizon. Anyway, the call is always a recorded message telling me my car's warranty has expired, how i'm susceptible, blah blah blah. My car and previous cars have been used, with no warranty at all. The prompts are 2 - to be removed from the call list and 1 - to speak to a representative. Well, I initially just had myself removed from the list by choosing "2", but I got called again, so I hit 2 again. I got called yet again last week, and I chose "1" to speak to a real person and bitch at them a lot. It rang and rang and I gave up after a couple minutes. I've kept getting these calls but usually i just don't answer if it's a crazy number, or i just hang up instantly. Today, however, I got called again and I chose to speak to a person. They answered and happily asked if "i'd like to extend my warranty coverage or start a new policy". I said "No, I'd like you to not call me ever again, and choosing your option 2 to remove me from the list hasn't change anything." Well, I at least started to say that. I probably got to about "No, I'd like you to not call - " and then I was promptly disconnected. ....how awesome. Calling the number back results in a "call cannot be completed" message, as you'd expect. Google tells me that other people are dealing with the same shit, and it's pretty much entirely a scam: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/09/expired-car-warranty-calls-have-several-states-pissed-too/ Anybody else as lucky as me?
  16. I would have been hit head on in the truck going about 25 mph today on ackerman road, if my horn didn't work. This hooker heard the horn and slammed on her brakes in time. I slowed to a stop as soon as I saw her in my lane, and she still stopped so close to me that she had to back up to get around. As per normal, I smiled the biggest dumbass smile I could muster and gave her a big thumbs up.
  17. I understand that flamethrowers are fairly easily made from supersoaker waterguns. However, I know that personally every supersoaker I've ever had leaked from at least one of its seals. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable having fuel leaking all over the gun I'm shooting fire out of.
  18. Had this EXACT problem at my parents house. Basically the drain line ( sewer ) from the washer was blocked, causing water to overflow out the nearest toilet... Not a fun problem, but it turned out to be a clogged "T" in the 3 or 4" sewer line in the basement, that runs along the ceiling. Needless to say, when my dad isolated the clog, there was some pressure behind it. There is a GREAT story to go along with it, you can fill in the blanks .
  19. +1 for monoprice.com the ONLY place for AV stuff.
  20. I'd say a new Cobalt SS, if they ever make them look decent... That or the latest ( 07 or 08 ) bullitt mustang, in green or black.
  21. I have that clock, it's pretty cool
