  1. Have this up anywhere else by chance so I can link somebody to it? I was thinking I'd pass it along to my uncle.
  2. I have a pair of 2.25" or 2.5" band clamps that you can have if you want them. I can't remember if they were too big or too small for what I was doing but they didn't fit... http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSC_0108Large.jpg Not exactly the same, but same style.
  3. I'm assuming this is manual? Girlfriend likes these, and is in the market....although maybe not wagon.
  4. They make cable interrupters that basically "T" into your antenna signal cable, and switch input from FM/AM signal to an mp3/sat radio source when they initiate a signal. That's how the Sirius unit in my mom's Accord is setup, as was her old Suburban.

    this thread pertains to me!
  6. You don't owe me anything there, guy. You might however consider making a sticky with a little how-to outlining how one might go about determining whether a thread does or does not "pertain" to them. That would at least almost justify your ban threat. I think any reasonable person can look at what I've posted thus far in your thread here and see that I've really done no wrong. In the future I'll do my best to avoid your free-swinging banhammer here on the CR internets, I suppose, as past attempts at truly reasonable interaction have failed.
  7. Yep, I did. It's my understanding that Rob installed all of those parts you list in your first post. I would feel that if the parts he installed aren't working together very nicely, he would be responsible for having the first look at it. Some call that standing behind your work, or a "warranty". You should think a bit before jumping down somebody's throat. If you recall I too had quite a bit of work done at Rob's. Not talking exclusively out of my ass here.
  8. I feel that without a warranty in writing you may have a hard time....
  9. Also interested, as my Dad was asking me about where might be best for Line-xing his new truck's bed. Cheap is good, but durability is better, as he'll have it a good long while. It seems that maybe there are no "deals" to be had though, as about all the prices I see are near identical....
  10. Maybe check to see that the bands in the transmission were adjusted at least once or twice as part of "regular" maintenance. Those transmissions are known to fail without it, but mine lasted me 250k+ miles with nothing but fluid changes so who knows really lol.
  11. I know of at least one guy from I believe Upper Arlington where police suspected he was taking his mom's car and burglarizing houses with it while she was at work. He would drop her off and pick her up every day. They questioned him but couldn't pin anything on him, so they put a gps on his car and let him do his thing for a few weeks. When enough reports of burglary were reported at the same coordinates of the car they arrested him. Seems okey dokey to me, but clearly there is the possibility of abuse here. The naive part of me would like to say "hey don't steal shit" and you're in the clear, but there is obviously more to it than that....
  12. So I have this Dresser and chest that since moving a couple weeks ago I no longer need. The dresser has a removable mirror and glass top, I always left the glass top on to protect it, but I never used the mirror. I used it for the last two years and it's in very good shape. The only nicks/scratches are on the rear or bottom edges, and there are hardly any. Honestly it looks quite nice, and a new set of hardware would update it nicely. Asking $300 obo. This is a picture of the two pieces together: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Furniture/DSC_0467.jpg And this one of the dresser with the mirror and glass top in place: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Furniture/DSC_0464.jpg You can check out the Craiglist listing HERE for more pictures and description. Thanks for looking. -Scott
  13. I know my dad always schedules a removal one day and an installation the next when they increase his pricing more than he likes. That way he's out of cable/internet for an evening, then gets it all back at the the "new customer" rate the next day. Dick move, but helps keep him from getting dicked over. Win in my book.
  14. If it were mine I would lose the running boards, go with a smaller/more tucked muffler, tint everything, maybe SS bumpers down the road.... Looks pretty damn decent already though.
  15. You creating plasma brodeo? Good times.
  16. OMG OMG you associate with college football players OMG OMG. ......"Attention requested" etc. etc.....
  17. My first and only experience resulted in me apparently giving out all the money in my wallet to people for "disrespecting" them, or that's apparently how I put it. I did also wake up under a chair. That's right, under.
  18. Any/much rust? Where if so? Have a friend who just mentioned wanting a truck for < 3 grand.
  19. Why not just wine? That's ~14% I believe. You can get a lot of wine for less than $10.
