  1. Somebody needs to get laid....
  2. I thought the sn95 cars were 94-98? And I'm sure he doesn't care if you're a big fan of them or not.
  3. I received new wheels (w/tires mounted) for my TA packaged just like this using UPS ground. They arrived in perfect shape, no issues at all.
  4. I'd hate to have to find roof glass for that thing......
  5. Like the other guys said, Hamburger Inn. Definitely won't get more "lost in time" than this place. My dad used to go this place forty years ago.
  6. I hate that you can't even go to a movie anymore without being bombarded with stupid ass commercials. What happened to just previews, and then the movie. Now its 10 minutes of commercials, then the previews and movie.
  7. At least you wouldn't have to worry about your fuel getting stolen. You could just un-bungee cord your gas tank and take it with you.....
  8. I thought that was a nice touch myself......I also like that the left muffler is directly under the master cylinder. Hot/boiling brake fluid always makes for a fun ride.
  9. Yeah, I'd have to agree with Dave. If it has any miles on it and you already have it all torn apart, it might not be a bad idea to just have it gone through. Also, when I had all of the issues with mine, I remember reading that the TC issue was fairly common in these transmissions.
  10. You could get them heated or unheated with power mirrors.
  11. Is the SES light coming on? I had a 3.4 Grand Prix and sometimes the TC wouldn't lock up, and the light would come on. Also, you could count how many times the trans. shifts (should be 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, and 4-TC lockup). Maybe it's not going into OD, or the TC isn't locking up.
  12. What's up Scott. And no, thank god. That was an expensive day....I guess I would have been mad at her, but you can't really help it when you're following a flatbed down the freeway and a box of roofing nails falls off because some lame-ass isn't responsible. Driver of that truck = :asshole:
  13. I'm having issues, too. Do you guys have Time Warner?
  14. I have a 25 or 30 gallon (can't remember right now) Craftsman, and when I'm using the DA or a grinder it runs quite a bit, sometimes almost constantly. Even when I'm using the impact or an air ratchet a lot it runs frequently. You'd be way better off saving up, or like someone else said, find a used one.
  15. Get an HVLP (high volume low pressure) gun, way less material loss and overspray. I liked using a suction feed better, but I quit because of the overspray and material waste they create. Sata, Binks and DeVilbiss all make really good HVLP guns, but they're pretty expensive. A good, relatively inexpensive HVLP is an Ingersoll Rand. You can pick one up for close to 100 bucks, and for the money, you can't beat it. I think you can buy them at Lowes.
  16. How do you get the spark plug tubes out of the head with there only being like 2 inches between the valve cover and the plenum? The plug wire tubes appeared to be too long for this to happen without breaking them. I had the plenum off my GTP about 50 times and it got to be where I could have it off in about 5 minutes, so I never tried the other way
  17. I'd like to go to Hong Kong. Flew to Australia several years ago, though. 15 hours in a plane was long enough for me.
  18. No, not the 3.4, or 3400 pushrod engine, the 3.4, VIN X DOHC (4 cams) engine, used from 90-96 in Grand Prix's, Lumina's and Cutlass Supremes only. Only thing the same between the 2 is the short block.
  19. Rear plugs and wires (or head gaskets, or timing belt, or power steering hoses and pump, lol) on a 3.4 DOHC GM engine....intake's coming off for that one. Fuel pump on an 82-up F-body. Definitely enough said about that.........
  20. You could always do the flush, etc, it certainly won't hurt. Also, you could check your spark plugs, look for a white residue on the porcelain near the electrode, that will tell you if there is a cylinder burning coolant. You could also do a compression check, but if it isn't running bad that might be inconclusive. Also, when it's cold, take the cap of the overflow and run the engine at higher than idle and check for any bubbling. This would indicate combustion gases leaking through the head gasket. You didn't mention if any coolant came out with the oil when it was changed, I am assuming not since you didn't mention it.
  21. Not bad looking. Perhaps they can build it in China and then put 20 recalls on it 2 months later for lead paint, spontaneously catching on fire, etc........
  22. Check your heater core, there might be some blockage. When it's idling, there might not be enough water flow through it to produce heat. I've seen this fix a similar problem like you describe before.
  23. For whatever it's worth, my dad has a '97 Jimmy. He's had it for quite sometime now and it's got almost 200k on it. The only thing out the ordinary I've done to it is put a fuel pump and oil cooler lines (very common to leak) on it. He regularly pulls a trailer with it as well. It's been a great vehicle. I also had a Blazer that I sold to a buddy when it had 235k on it, and he's still driving it everyday and pulling his boat with it. I'd definitely check out the oil cooler lines if I were you, and change them before they let go with disastrous results. BTW, front hub bearings are less than $150 each, I just changed one on a Blazer not too long ago.
  24. I can't remember, is it a large jet or more like a smaller, corporate jet? 3 engines narrows it down pretty good, though. If it's corporate, it's almost definitely a Dassault Falcon 50 or larger. If it's like a large commerical jet, there are a few more possibilities, including the Boeing 727, Douglas DC-10 (MD-11), or Lockheed L1011. There is also the possibility that they didn't even use an existing aircraft. I should watch that movie again.
