  1. Anyone think we will get any good snow this winter? So far, it's been a disappointing winter. Bought new snow tires and waiting to use it
  2. That's what I figured. Damn. The body shop I want to use is not dealership. They told me that they can get the parts but they're not sure when. Personally that doesnt make sense to me
  3. I'm just curious. I hit a deer in the TourX Tuesday and I'm still waiting on the body shop to let me know if the parts are available to order. If they're on backorder, do I have grounds to file a lemon law? I read the article ( https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Individuals-and-Families/Consumers/Consumer-Tips/Consumer-Tips-Auto/Lemon-Laws ) but it looks like I don't. Thoughts on this?
  4. Already knocking on 12,000 miles ha. I agree with everything. There isn't anything that I hate about it. It is just the perfect vehicle.
  5. The only thing I absolutely hate is the straight-edged windshield leading to a sharp crease then straight-edge to the tails. ADD SOME CURVES. The Tesla Model X, S, and 3 are stunning, be like them.
  6. I would go to the auctions, buy a mint classic car and daily drive it.

  8. Figured it was automotive related so I posted here This is completely foreign to me. My 45 days tag are up. I'm planning on transferring my plates to the Buick. Now, am I supposed to go to the title office for any reasons or the dealer already took care of that? Do I just go to the registrar and tell them I need to transfer plates? I read their online FAQs but I'm still not sure. Apologies for such a dumb question. This is my first new car so I'm not sure of the procedure
  9. I got mine from high White. It was the last one remaining and it just had the sounds and sights package and that's it. Exactly what I wanted.
  10. Right now, I'm okay with the wheels. I definitely want to replace the tires before winter. I was hoping to use my old Saab wheels but GM, in its brilliancy, decided to return to 5x115 patterns so my 5x120 wheels that I saved cannot be reused. I probably will try the current tires in the snow to see if I can manage, if not, I'm getting new tires. The current tires are the stupid "Conti-Silent" tires with foam inside it. As for more, there's still several 2018s sitting on lots nationwide, I just went for the local one because...local. This was the last one from my dealer.
  11. Thank you to all those who congratulated and scorned. I appreciate it! I was ready to step out of the SUV/crossover game because it was definitely not worth the added expense (fuel etc) when a car could have done it just fine. I'm really enjoying the car. Took it for a good drive in the twisties, it does surprisingly well, the tires are a letdown but that's to be expected. You can tell the torque vectoring in the back helps. The auto stop/start is annoying, that's for sure.
  12. Ha, I can appreciate all of your viewpoints. It's not the most exciting thing or the most desirable thing, I admit but it's honestly exactly what I want because I'm at that point where I just want a comfortable CAR that has the space of a SUV but the fuel economy of a car with AWD. Wagons were the only choice. I don't trust VW or want the anemic power of the Subarus. This was the best choice and frankly, the only new car I actually wanted. It had exactly what I wanted, I was sick of leather and didn't want all these automated systems, just a motor, transmission, and cruise control. 13. Sold the Durango, changed hands then went and bought something I've always wanted. A Buick . A Buick Regal TourX. Listed price was 37,060. Got it for 25,000 brand new. I love it. Pics to come. Also, what's the general consensus when it comes to new engines? Follow break in or give it hell?
  14. Sold in thirty minutes after posting on Facebook Marketplace. Who knew!?
  15. Also feel free to reach out to your friends and family if they're in search of a badass ride. May hook them up with a discount.
  16. It's official. I'm making the decision to sell it and get back into a car. 2015 Dodge Durango SXT Plus in Redline Red equipped with the Blacktop Package Has: 88,000 miles (will go up as I daily this) Heated seats Heated steering wheel Suede/leather seats Third row (folds flat) Black interior AWD 20 inch wheels New tires Tow hitch but no towing package (limited to 3500 lbs legally) Halogen headlights Husky front floormats Rotary shifter AFE Momentum GT air intake The bad: It doesn't have a Hemi V8 KBB puts value at 19,462. Asking 17,000 Picture link http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1015 I can be reached at prd2bdf at gmail dot com or 740 four three 8 8 nine one nine (text only obviously, you can try calling but I guarantee you that you'll hear gibberish in a Deaf accent)
  17. Good suggestion, that car reminds me a lot of my Saab 9-5 which I absolutely loved
  18. I absolutely love the idea of a Challenger GT. My only concern is how does it move? I'm trying to realistically tell myself that I do just need a big comfy grand tourer to eat up the miles and occasionally toss in the corners. I don't need outright performance because I just drive a hundred plus miles a day and that's all highway and all the excess power can't really be used legally. The Infiniti M56 is outrageously priced for a used car. Pass. The BMWS are a solid pass too. I love the Cadillac but I don't like the previous gen design but the current gen looks sharp but will it age well? Towing isn't a priority now.
  19. His girlfriend is not of legal age. I've had multiple conversations to remind him of the risks and legal troubles that awaits. He also knows if I find out, he will be kicked out of the house. The model is 5268AC
  20. Let me preface: I know ABSOLUTELY nothing about technology nor do I care to. I am currently housing a 18yr old boy that I pulled out of a bad home environment. He's currently thriving (just got accepted into college and got a job) However he's a 18yr old boy who has a tendency to get into trouble particularly regarding social media and swapping pictures. I wanted to see if there was a way to set up a Wi-Fi timer to shut down the system during sleeping hours. All I know is that I have an AT&T Uverse provided router and from what I've observed, there's no way to set a schedule on that. Please, speak to me as I am an idiot and use plain English.
  21. Yes, Clay, the Durango extrudes personality. Name one SUV that looks like it. It's not one of these generic SUVs. Adam, you're correct, the Durango does not hit all of these requirements, but it does meet some of them. The requirements are for my next car if I do head in that direction. Mitch, good point, I forgot to add the AWD requirement, I do commute 100+ miles a day in the country where the roads are "plowed" (air quotations, think Dr. Evil). a WRX is just too small for my preference, I like big cars and I cannot lie.
  22. So I'm tossing the idea of getting rid of the Durango. Reasons: I really don't use all of its capacities and I put about 40k a year on any vehicle I own. So I'm curious to see what you guys recommend for a replacemrnt if I decide to commit. Requirements: 1. Must have personality, the Durango extrudes personality 2. Fun to drive 3. Low cost of operation 4. Roomy, I'm 6'5" and often haul stuff inside 5. GT likeness (I love to roadtrip) 6. Bonus if it's lower payment (currently pay 320) The standard applies: reliable is a key
