  1. I am a forensic psychiatrist. I still do a little contract work occasionally and I have kept my faculty appointments, but I closed my practice to the public in March 2007. I kept the office in case I decided to go back to work. But the landlord, an old friend of mine, has an opportunity to make more money by leasing to another tenant, so I'm giving up the space. It was easier for me to just keep the office unused than it was to move the furniture to storage.
  2. Thanks. It's really a great desk. The photos don't do it justice. It just needs a new home .....
  3. Ship model made from matchsticks. 31" long, 26" tall, 8" wide. $90.00 http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0031.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0033.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0036.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0035.jpg Check-out the barrels http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0034.jpg
  4. Three matching large solid mahogany armchairs, quality upholstery with springs, 44" tall, 30" wide, 30" deep. Two are like new - $290.00 each. One of the three has a crack which goes through multiple parts of the back. I sit in it, but it really should be repaired if it is to get heavy use. Cracked chair I will sell for $100.00. $625.00 will buy the set, and I can point you to a good furniture repairman. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0011.jpg Gothic style octagonal table, 20" tall, 20" across, 8 hand carved cloverleaf tracery arches. 6. As a number of CR folks know, I retired from private practice two years ago but continued to maintain a consulting office in Worthington. But I've lost my lease and cannot absorb some of this furniture into my home. There are no antiques, but this is all quality furniture which cannot be distinguished from new (except where noted) and would make very nice heirloom furniture for a home. If you're interested, PM me and we can arrange for you to take a look at the furniture and decide. The prices are not negotiable unless you are buying multiple items. Thanks for browsing! Pulaski desk, 250 lbs., 6 feet wide, 30" tall, 30" deep. Hand carved hardwood. Hand tooled leather insert in top, not scratched but has light grooves on top, seen to the left of the glare in the last photo (so slight they are hard to photograph). Front of desk has large inserts of etched brass. Center drawer and two side cabinets face the rear. $950.00 http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0029.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0019.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0017.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0021.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/office%20furniture/Pict0022.jpg
  7. This thread's gone pretty cold for a few days now .... Are we still on for this? If not, I think I'll catch the Autocross action.
  8. I might take you up on that if I don't head out on the Hocking Hills trip. But you gotta promise not to take me up into Delaware County.
  9. 11.93 @ 121.60, 60' time 1.92. Averaged 22 mpg for the day (home to track, at track, and track back home), used 400 lbs of weight in trunk for added traction, melted 10 ice packs on the intercoolers and got four "nitrous frostings" of the engine compartment by Brian with his surplus N2O between passes. (Thanks, Brian!)
  10. It would be welcome. Never too much video of track days.
  11. Yeah, bring it along. We'll frost up my intercoolers between runs.
  12. Sam, was that you I saw trailering back to Columbus around 3 on I-71? I regret not getting to see you make some passes. It was a good time, and the wind died down after sunset, making the cold temps tolerable for the finals. The pro drifters really put on a show, although some locals gave them a run for their money in the tandems. A number of CR members did some impressive driving throughout the day. Although the ambient temps prevented the drag strip from being as friendly as it had been for our track day there in August, the Benz ran its best time ever, 11.81 @ 118.36 with a 60' of 1.90. This was on the new wheels and tires procured with special efforts by IPS.
  13. For those of us rained-out from the Track Day at Dragway 42, Kil-Kare is still planning on running this event rain or shine. Drifting, car show, drag racing (if track dries), and more: http://www.kilkare.com/ I'm headed out there provided I've got my new wheels and tires.
  14. Nope, been wrestling with the Lotus hardtop for the last two hours ..... finally in place for the winter.
  15. Yeah, right. Wanna go-in halves with me on a 50lb bag of floor absorbant?
  16. I way referring to MY German car, of course.
  17. Are you sure it's from your car and not from ... ahem ... a certain German car with a history of such leaks?
  18. Talking my stock broker back in of the ledge
  19. Well, if you guys change your minds, I'll prolly be there around 10:15 ..... stay until I'm bored. Get followed to US 23 by that same BMW, piping me and asking if I want to race ......jeeesh
  20. Well, I will prolly bring the Benz out .... it's kinda dirty because it was all over today (Columbus, Marion, Delaware), but at least it'll give the ricers something to heckle and taunt. And you can drive it if you want, just don't cross any state boundaries ....
  21. Trying to decide that now. Haven't slept since Wednesday night, but on the other hand, just finished a half pot of coffee about an hour ago. Too lazy to decide ...... I suggested to wonderboy earlier that we should take his buddy out in the limo (birthday dinner and drinking), that way, they didn't haven't to drink and drive. But we didn't plan far enough ahead and we couldn't make the time work. I'm just being lazy right now .....
  22. Thanks. No, I clean them myself. Used to have a detailer, back when I worked. But, um..... well, he got old and kinda crippled-up. It happens to old people, I'm told. So I decided that if I couldn't take care of it myself, I didn't need to keep it, and I clean them all myself and by hand. The Buick belonged to my late father, and it doesn't have vanity plates. He wouldn't have approved of such things.
