Doubt anyone here has any interest, but figured I would throw it up anyhow. The original rear end from my '95 Z28. Comes with 4.10 Richmond gears and a girdle. Does not come with brakes. Guessing 120k on the rear end, less than 5000 miles on the gears Girdle sells for $160, asking $150 for the whole thing, CR no bullshit price is $120. Buy it, throw the rear end away and put the girdle on your 10-bolt and save $40 if you like. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=9272

Good luck, that's the kind of shenanigans that can cost a notary their license.

What are the other options?

I go to Lisa Wood at Whalen & Company. I know she is buried in taxes right now though. -
In and paid. Requesting the day off now.

I thought the additional tax was a road tax. Would diesel for a boat have the tax added to it?

I doubt you'll have trouble giving it away to a family in need. Another option would be to donate it to a career center. The kids always need cars to practice working on, and the instructors need cars they can "bug" for the kids to diagnose since they cannot do that with a customers car.

If anyone here grabs this I have a full swap in rear end with 4.10 gears and a girdle from my 95 m6 car before I put the 9 inch in it.

I have a double din given to me by a neighbor when he upgraded one. I'll take measurements when I get home and let you know the size.

I love driving a manual, my daily is a manual. These days I believe the automatics are better transmissions, but I would still drive a manual. I almost converted my 94 Impala to a manual. I wonder if that is the direction things will go. Will the manufacturers stop making cars with manuals, and it will be up to the aftermarket to start generating all the swap parts?

FS: Bunch of computer parts / Cooling / a monitor.

So, what's you price if I grab the video card and the PC components all together? Not really interested in any of the water cooling stuff. -

I've been debating on building a new system (into my old case). I'm really tempted to just grab it all (or at least most of it). -
Being an IT teacher is the best of both worlds for me. I love teaching, it's honestly the most rewarding thing I've done. Coming from the world of IT, I did get a sense of accomplishment when I helped someone fix a problem that was keeping them from doing their job. Teaching an IT program is a natural fit for me. I get to teach, but I don't constantly have to teach the same thing year after year. We're always trying to keep the program up to date and as cutting edge as is practical. That's a lot of work for me learning new technologies as well as teaching, but I guess that comes with the job. The acid test for me is the old question "If you hit the lottery and didn't need money any more would you quit your job". I'm happy to say that I would not. I'd probably quit doing paperwork though. The classroom would be a hell of a lot nicer.

We did a track day up there a couple years back after they reopened. You're right, it was a very nice track. I'd be game for another track day there, but I think Brian want's all the list races on the same track.

What are the details on the 30mm cantilevered mount? -
I may have to give that a try on mine. Most people seem to use "Refinish Restorer" by CarWorx. My cladding is VERY faded. The bed panels are even worse. To be honest though since I got the truck from Arizona I expected it to be worse.

Door cars only huh? I have my name on the side of my car .... and my last name is pronounced "door". Close enough?

Something tells me they won't let you leave from 2 lengths in front of the line, and I can't launch from the water box. How about I throw 1 second on the delay box and leave on the bottom bulb?
-
You bet your ass that's the plan. I'll be there for 1/4 or 1/8th. If there is a spot for me on the list then that's where I'll be.

Sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to any and all events that get put together.

Count me in too. In the summer obviously is when I have more time than the rest of the year. This summer I am committing to me instead of school. I'll be done with my 30 semester hour goal post masters degree, and I've finished the CCNA instructor course work, so I won't have a need to be in classes. Whether I'm on the list or not it sounds like fun.
