Hopefully I'll make it. So far the D42 curse has gotten me every year. One year the car didn't run, next year I had a caliper bolt come loose and I had to get someone come get me off the side of the road. The next year it started snowing and they closed the track right as I got there. This year I have a transmission leak. We're putting a new pan gasket in today. More importantly I have a leaking valve stem on one of the front runners. Turns out valve stems for spindle mount front dragster wheels are a somewhat specialized part. At least I work somewhat close to Delaware, so I'm running up there after school to grab a set. God willing and the creak don't rise I'll be there.

We're firing up the racecar today and giving it one final look over to make sure it's ready to go. I know I have an oil leak to address. Hopefully nothing more than that.

Car show to benefit career tech high school students

Okay, I'm finally getting my judges lined up. I know it's late. PM me your information if you are interested. Judges meeting about 10:00ish, start judging around 11:00 finished by 1:00 is the goal. You will need to create an account on the http://www.carshowpro.com website. All judging scores and sheets will be handled through that site, no paper form needed. We will use smart phones to enter all the scores. There will be a QR code on the dash cards you can scan to judge each car. Hopefully it should go smoothly. Let me know if you are interested. BTW OSU game starts at 3:30 that day, so hopefully you'll be long done before game time. October 7th. -
Just went out there and pulled it out. PM me and we can figure out how to get it to you. I live on the west side, I'm at CSCC on Tuesday evenings this semester.

Airflow was the culprit when I saw this happening. The blower motor gave out and there was no airflow. Duff on here does HVAC work.

Yep, Now i gotta fix my shite.

I'll check the shed next time I'm out there and let you know if I still have it. Then we can figure out a place to meet up.

I think I have a stock solo seat stored in my barn. Probably off an 05ish bike. You're welcome to it, it was given to me.

Okay, time to iron out the volunteer list. If anyone is willing to donate time to help out that would be awesome! The big list is I am in need to judges. 15 to 20 adults total. Judging experience preferred, but not required. Judges meeting at 10:30, plan is to start judging at 11:00. You can have a car in the show, you just cannot judge that class. I'm planning on judging being done by 1:30-2:00 If you are not interested in judging, but still want to help out let me know. I'm sure we can find a spot for you. If you have a skill that you think would be of benefit please let me know and I'll try to place you where we can make use of that. -

I haven't shot this thing in quite a while. Time to let it go to someone who will play with it more than I will. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8895 Arsenal SLR-95 http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8899 Stock 5 round magazine, plus two steel 30 round magazines http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8896 Carry bag that will hold the rifle, all 3 magazines, and a couple hundred rounds of ammo http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8897 Rifle manual http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8898 200+ rounds of ammo, not high quality, but I have shot well over 1,000 rounds of it and never had a misfire or a misfeed. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=8900 Rifle with magazine I've considered for a while trying long range shooting, so I need to make some room. Otherwise I would not be selling it. This rifle has treated me well and is in like new condition. It was purchased by me back in the 90s. These seem to be going for right around $1000 for just the basic rifle, so I would ask $1200 for the rifle, plus mags, plus bag, plus ammo. For CR I'll sell it all for $1000.

The stand is more of a wave guide. I'm not going to pretend to understand the acoustics of it, but my understanding is the actual Echo has the wave guide incorporated into it. All I know is the Dot sounded noticeably better with the stand.

We were at Rayners. Based on my extensive experience being out there only once... Seems like a cool place. It was pretty dead that day because of the weather. I did some driving around the place trying to find where everyone was. I saw some cool little pistol ranges. Looked like a 100 yard range, and even stumbled on the 1000 yard range up top. Everyone was at the 600 yard range with a tent city thing going on. Didn't see a range safety officer the entire time I was there, but nobody was doing anything really stupid anyhow (that I noticed). It was a great time and I'd happily go back despite the drive. It's in the middle of nowhere. Drive to Zanesville, head SE until you hear banjos.

I didn't notice she had hands, let alone a finger on the trigger.

We had some time in class last week and we experimented with the Dot outside the stand and inside. I was listening from roughly 40 feet away in a somewhat quiet classroom/computer lab. Without the stand I could barely hear the music at full volume. With the stand I could hear the music clearly. The Dot was on top of my mini tower PC on my desk in the front of the room.

Signed up. Now I guess I need to go fix my shit.

Why selling the RPR? Did I get it dirty or something?
-
Mine just took a shit. I'm interested. How old is it?
-
I need another hobby like I need a hole in the head. But I have to admit, I had more fun with that rifle than I have had shooting in a long time. It wasn't long after I got home that I started looking up pricing for an RPR, and looking up the value on my Arsenal AK wondering how much additional cash it would cost me to swap it out for an RPR. I can't believe I'm even thinking about it to be honest.

That was an amazing time man! Thanks much!

Got room for a noob with no gear?

I'll pass this along to my step-son. He's looking for a daily beater.
