  1. the logic that every bike should ONLY be used to turning corners, means that everybody needs to sell their shit and go buy a 250 ninja...

    I'd like a 250 ninja

also, his stretched 1k would be shit vs a 600 in the corners, so it would prove that hes a MUCH better rider...600 has the advantage over a 1k in corners, especially a stretched one

I dunno, maybe in 1988. Anymore, I'm not so sure. With a novice rider, sure. I'd agree, it is only going to prove who is a better rider. Put both riders on both bikes, and I'll bet $20 they are faster around a corner on the stock 600, and faster down the strip on a stretched bike.

  2. Haha, wow that's a lot of thread for a ticket. I'll add.

Yeah, $96 is crazy, and should definitely fall under price gouging or some other state consumer protection law. There should be a cap on fees and such, an it shouldn't be anywhere NEAR 2400%. Break the gate, or come back later and get your car another way is what I say. They might as well charge $5000 dollars, it would be just as crooked. Shit, retarded Ohioans already legislated out payday advances, and that wasn't nearly as bad.

  3. U dumb fuck, Are u scarred to take me up on beating u in turns on a stretched bike? My bike is purpose built.

What's it purpose built for? You can't have both (straight/turn).

I won't put money on it because I'm poor, but I'll give you a run around Mid O sometime if you like. I've NEVER seen anyone serious at the track (non-drag, haha) with an extended swingarm. Sorry, but you may just get laughed at there. I bet it helps a shitton at the strip, because you don't have to ride to know a stock wheelbase sportbike is wheelie-happy.

Oh well. If you're doing any mid-O track days next year, gimme a shout and I'll follow you around a bit, until I pass you maybe ;) Bring a stock swingarm and we'll swap out between sessions to see if/how it affects your lap times. I'll help.

  4. No thats a good price as long as its in good shape.

Less than half than what I paid for mine, stupid depreciation

That's the best and worst thing about Audis.

Also, I'm 99% sure the TB job is the same on 2.8 vs. 2.7, actually easier on the 2.8 (because no boost pipes yo!). The front axles are REALLY easy to change out, takes seriously 30mins per side if you loaf. They can be found cheap too.

$6k for an S4 is good, I'd ALMOST buy a b5 at that price point, but I'd rather get one for $4k or $5k with sketchy turbos, since they'll need done anyway.

  5. The 2.8s are solid motors. Decent power, mine got 25mpg summer and 20mpg winter regardless of city/highway driving. Check the axleshafts for boot tearing, because there are 2 per axle and if they are driven torn for long enough they'll need replaced. Good cars though.
  6.

I can't believe that anyone would suggest going to fucking Polaris over downtown.

Seriously? There is at least 20 times more things to do at Polaris then downtown. More choices, better places to stay, not nearly as many bums, pervs, and beggars, easier to park, need I go on? Downtown sucks. I haven't eaten at every restaurant in Ohio, but I can comfortably say there is better dining AROUND Columbus then right downtown.

  7. camaros sucked from the 70's, all the way into the 90's

Really? I thought the the 1970 camaro was pretty solid. I had an 81' (super late 2nd gen) that was pretty good. Simple, easy to work on, super super cheap parts, made great power (heads + cam for $<500) and drove almost halfway decent. Shoot, I thought the z28 in 93' (had one too) was a pretty big deal. Spanked the hell out of a mustang, had good performance, got good mileage, awesome 6 speed trans, and was pretty cheap. Then they put the ls1 in it and it was even better. Sure the interior sucked, and the brakes weren't great, and the suspension was crummy, but what do you expect from a camaro?

  8. I believe Castle law bars all civil actions by family from the house owner also.

I was pretty sure it also removes the burden of proof from the homeowner, and places it on the prosecution (you know, like most laws). You used to have to prove you COULD NOT retreat in order to justify a shooting. Now you don't. Yes, the civil liability is a HUGE deal though, since bad guys typically have poor worthless gold-digging families.

  9. Fuck that, you enter my house and I didn't invite you in, you are not coming out any way other way than a body bag if I get the draw on you.

Criminals need to understand this, maybe they would stop and think about it before coming in and thinking "meh, I just want the HDTV. No big deal." When they figure out damn I may lose my life for that TV, they may think, "Man that's last years model, I ain't gonna get killed for last years 60hz POS. :D

Seriously. Nobody in their right mind would enter someone else's house if they were pretty sure they'd be shot and killed. Instant drop in robbery, If only I didn't have to go to work during the daytime...

  10. focus rs isnt available here because ford fucking failed big time making it euro only...ide rock one of those in a fucking heartbeat

What a bunch of retards. Who thought it was a good idea to have an American company make a sweet product in a sea of crap, then NOT sell it to Americans? Wow, they need to be flogged and fired.

  11. fox chassis > all of the above.

think about this. people taking the driveline from a 4th gen maro, and shoving it in fox's...every where

That's because a nice sbc and a t-56 combo is fast and reliable. Too bad the rearends were junk. Fox body's are cheap and plentiful. If people could get shopping carts to be just a little bit more driveable, they toss out their fox chassis and stick their sbcs in there. True story.

That being said, I think ford is doing some good things with their turbo motors. The ecoboost was a great idea, and their focus RS or whatever with the turbo-5 (is that available here?) is ALMOST something I'd own.

  12. Yikes. Cool idea, but who wants to pay the taxes necessary to fund that project? Our current roadway system is already years and years out of date in most urban areas, maybe we should just tear up the main roadways and put this stuff in. Obama can just pass another bajillion dollar spending bill, and we'll all have jobs for the next 10 years.

  13. She did the right thing. She shot the intruder when he came in the house. I would of done the same thing. Story is only one sided when the other guy is dead.

Yep. Also, thank god and our politicians and our public for getting castle doctrine through in OH finally. I guarantee that robber won't try that again. There's only one surefire way to prevent repeat offenders;)

  14. If there are good parts on it you want to spend the time to pull and sell, you could always go that route... Only worth it if you have a ton of time though. Otherwise call junkyards and see what they'll offer.
