I might drive one with an ls1, but I'd still have to replace the guages because can't stand the stock ones.

video games? COD MW2? Still waiting on pics of your car, or someone's car. Does the girlfriend/wife have an interesting car? Any bikes? Do you shoot?
-
But what about the fans? Cant have a 10lb, 2000hp car making 90° turns at 300mph hit a 10 year old girl in the face.
well, if it's 10 lbs she won't mind too much. She shouldn't have been on the outside of the turn. It works for rallying, why not F1? That's why IRL is boring.
-
If this law will make that happen, I approve!
Haha, me too. I don't cut the exhaust off my bike, then go WOT at redline past their house at 10:00pm so why would they do it to me? If only I knew where they lived...
-
Psh, danger? It's like I said. Get an office job. I don't see UFC guys bitching about safety.
-
Yep. I got ticketed for "excessive acceleration and exhaust noise" on a super old vintage slow Honda 750 once, so I guess I would have kissed that bike goodbye. No more harleys on the street, ever.
-
wait, how did you join in 2005? What's going on here?
-
Oh wow, that's an odd job for someone with little knowledge of parts to have
A 300sd is a perfectly respectable vehicle. Welcome to the site. What dealer do you work at? I gotta run over to MAG shortly.
-
What I was getting at is, it would be more interesting if they were allowed to continue to advance their engines to get more power. Whether that be through forced induction, displacement, revs or whatever. Running a 'spec' (or as close as they can try to get) just makes for boring ass racing.
-
That is interesting. But, why would you want that when you could run a 4g63, b18c, sbc, 5.0, or 2jz? It's too bad F1 turned into such a puss fest. I wish these babies would quit whining about it being too fast, too expensive, too dangerous, or too [insert puss here]. It's top-level racing, not top-level programming. You want to be safe go administer a network. Recommend return of Can-Am.
There, that ought to get things moving.

I've driven a G35...I'd seriously only buy one if it was for $500 or less.
Ouch, mega fail. I'd probably take one, but only if it was cheap. If I can buy a nicer car that is on par performance-wise for cheaper, why bother?

It's definitely the offspring of some koala-monkey hybrid. That look on it's face is classic.
-
Ha, that's good. Not worried, some things are indestructible.

double post to get back on topic.
Bourbon ale is aged in a boubon barrel or cask? This seems strangely similar to the " Michelob Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale...FTMFW!!!" thread featured here

Yeah, it used to be with their Christian family values and all that good stuff, but then they got all reatarded.
-Started giving people the 3rd degree when selling them ammo, then stopped carrying it altogether.
-Not staffing enough people for depts that needed help, but overstaffing in dead areas.
-No CCW because they give "wine tastings" they say. Grrrrr!
-Not reprimanding grouchy associated that leave their depts in shambles, because they've "been here a long time"
They do some stuff alright, but I just got fed up with it and went elsewhere.
-
Busted! I worked there once. Then the whole place went down the shitter and turned into a bunch of libtards. I will not give them my business anymore.
-
or for the untrained shooter, whatever is 3 feet to the right of it
-
Nice place. I take it you work for Scott's?
-
Everything else being equal, yes. The unions typically will look out for the employee/ union bosses at the expense of the corporation and consumer. I think that's generally the idea.
-
That's crummy. Stories like this make me super glad I have a nice oil cooler, and oil temp gauge. Had it been an inline motor you might have been alright
. I drove a VW 2.slow a good 100 miles with no water pump and it survived. Synthetic oil ftw.
-
Huh. I'd like the beltline to be a little lower, but it looks halfway decent.
-
I've been in a union once, and never again. UFCW I believe it was. "Hey guys, we got you a raise of $.20 an hour! Too bad we're raising our dues by exactly $8/week. You'll get over it!" Yeah, maybe if the one I was in was an unstoppable juggernaut like the UAW, and they got me $20/hour and good benefits I'd like them too. Why don't they go and pwn toyota, honda, or bmw like they pwned the American companies. That will show them
-
Huh, interesting. Seems like with that payload (over a ton?) it should have more power. Kinda like a better ridgeline, that doesn't get 15 mpg and rev to 4k all the time. Good work VW. Best of all, no coil packs to fail
-
It's short on torque, that's what I was saying. They need a big V8, or a big force-fed V6. Maybe they could get away with a NA v6 if they revved the crap out of it like nissan does, but I don't think that's what muscle car people want.

Don't forget India. All this is going to lead to is poor America being the model citizen getting trampled all over by the 'criminals' that are profiting because they're polluting. Until it's international law that everyone MUST adhere to, we can do what we want. I still suspect we're cleaner than many of these guilty-conscience, bleeding heart do-gooders want everyone to think. Look at the diesel restrictions we have, God forbid they pollute as much as Europe's diesels! Look at Kali's emission standards. Does anywhere else in the world have laws that strict? I'm curious, but too busy to research right now.
