  1. One of my friends got a FREE low mile first year cooper S. He planned to use it as a track car, and literally every single event he was going to go to, something broke/went wrong and he couldn't race. Either his is a super-lemon or they're mega piles of turds.

Feels sportyish just farting around town, so I guess it's better than a minivan or rental truck for autox? Never seen one place higher than bottom midpack at even poverty slow events.

Here's one I was at with 3 coopers, couple placed mid-pack, if that's good enough for you? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19Pot191__N9Ak2KJ-tYkFNSBac_SnDBrs4J587Bsgu8/edit#gid=47

  2. Cheap steel case 9mm is going to be .16/round, remand brass around .18/round, new brass .21/round. If you find blazer brass, rem UMC, winchester white box, etc brass case ammo locally for $10/box (.20/round) buy all you can those deals don't come up very often.

5.56 or .223 I'll buy for .30-.31/round for new brass case right now it's bouncing around a little above that. Pover steel .223 is .22ish/round

There are a few sites like http://gun-deals.com/ammo that will crawl retailers and you can sort by type/cost per round, etc

  3. You are talking about two states which both have the largest populated cOne thing that almost never gets talked about in these situations is the number of deaths and injuries caused by legal gun owners that have decreased as a result of gun laws. Getting shot in a bar brawl used to be so prolific they wrote many many many folk, rock, and blues songs about it. Don't hear about it nearly as much now.

The nice part of federal gun control standards is the states are still free to go more narrowly focused if they want so it is possible to not write a federal standard to the level of New York or Los Angles.

You don't hear about people getting shot at bars anymore? Uhhhh do you even read the news?

http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/lake-county-news-sun/crime/ct-lns-waukegan-shooting-st-1005-20161004-story.html let's solve bar shootings with ARMED GUARDS, wait guns are the solution to guns?

Shootings in and outside of bars all the time, maybe bars should be illegal?

  4. Never had a problem with AWD on all seasons. Snow up to the bumper = no problem. In the dirt = no problem. Towing stuck cars out= no problem. Quattro FTW

Few problems on rwd (open diff) on all seasons. Trying to get started uphill took a long long while to get moving, planning for red lights and hills was real, and in rush hour bumper to bumper it meant sometimes having someone cut in because you couldn't stay tight.

RWD with LSD on all seasons or all terrain truck tires was much better, still had to be a little careful but okay on roadways. LOL off road for sure.

Chances are you'll be stuck behind the swarm of ghetto hooptys on bald summer tires anyways. I passed up a sweet job to avoid that same drive. Probably 2/5 days per week coming from 33 traffic would be backed up on 33 from 270 past the post road exit. 2+ hour commute LOL

  5. Facebook "friend" of mine who supports HRC was bragging today about how he went around and was knocking over and destroying trump signs.

The fucking irony. What a retard.

I know of one intersection of highways where trump signs have been destroyed/stolen/ran over for the last monthish. If you can't see the yard signs, you can't vote for them!

  6.

    Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The right to keep a gun for the security of a free state is not a hobby or recreational in any way. I will always agree you are allowed to have them. But that doesn't mean you don't have to have a permit or license to use them outside of use during your time in a well regulated militia.

    Amendment II

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

oh yeah, well your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

  7. 2nd amendment also doesn't say anything about keeping guns for hobby and recreation

    That's the definition of infringement

  8. impeding the flow of traffic.

    (A) No person shall stop or operate a vehicle, trackless trolley, or street car at such an unreasonably slow speed as to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic, except when stopping or reduced speed is necessary for safe operation or to comply with law.

    http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/4511.22

Maybe the governor? or whoever should direct the police to stop citing for passing on the right and speeding, etc things that move traffic along, and start citing for impeding the flow of traffic?

  9. Welcome to 21st century Columbus. It's equally bad on the northwest-side, where the entire NW quarter of 270 gridlocks daily starting at about 430pm. My average speed as soon as I hit 270 is 6mph (until I get off 270). Just creeping in 1st gear, and I only have to go 2 exits. Funny thing is, it's STILL faster than taking parallel surface streets and sitting for 60-90 seconds at every red light.

I hear the outerbelt used to be AROUND the city. Now it just cuts through the burbs. You'll have to find a job on the edge of town, and work outside of town to get anywhere near the speed limit in rush-hour.

Chicago traffic is worse. Downtown and surrounding highways are like our 5pm rush hour EVEN ON SUNDAYS. Shitcago traffic is even worse than Boston, and that's saying something.

Almost forgot Philly. FUCK philly. Bordering on toronto-levels of retardation there.

    Time to get a helicopter?

  10. I visit Charlotte regularly and its always great time down there but idk about living there for a while tho.

Some family moved to Charlotte, thought it would be an improvement. After about 2 years they're moving back.

Summers are much worse, winters are a little better, food is terrible except a couple BBQ places, racist backwards-ass population, bugs, not as much to do.

PNW is pretty, but costs a fuckton, and from the few weeks I spent there, it rains a lot. Like, almost columbus-levels of rain. And if you find a decent area outside town that's affordable, it's on a dirt road with no power or water or internet or anything.

Montana is beautiful, but dem winters... Same with Alaska- maybe a place to retire or vacation to, but not live/work.

Ohio is pretty shitty, but you can do a lot worse. There are decent tracks not too far away, great food, lack of natural disasters, and lots of decent jobs.
