  1. Depends on the item but a decent amount, picked up 2200 rounds of 5.56, that's 5.56 not 223 for $200 :)

If that's a regular non-special deal you could probably make a little side money buying and reselling locally. Give me the details and order me a skid and I'll be by to pick it up shortly.

  2. Not really.

To each is to their own, but Auto-X and Track is where actual drivers can show their skill.

Shifting and romping on the car on a dig or pull is literally a joke IMO.

Obviously you never rode or drove in a BMW, but it shines in the curves.

That's what I used to think. Driver skill makes a HUGE difference getting a car off the line, as does hitting your shifts correctly. Different kind of driving than autox for sure.

If we were all driving AWD autos then it would be different.

  3. people believe too much of what they hear. I've left mags loaded for years and they've always been 100% when they get cycled in. Lots of people (myself included) like to load certain mags 1 or 2 rounds below capacity just to make it easier to lock in on a closed bolt, but it won't hurt the magazine one bit.
  4. All of you are lame. And I did not die from a massive brain bleed. I can in fact take correction. And it was my bed time cause it was outrageously late and I was tired.

Semi-fixed that for you. Carry on with whatever the hell is going on in here.

  5. If only I knew who you were..I wasn't bored and was perfectly happy at docs (:

I didn't know who you were either, I had to say "Who's that person that made the thread..."

I was the dude that was sitting between the one dude and the other dude and across from the dude and the other girl. By the fridge kinda, but on the way out to the garage.

  6. And another thing: Don't be put off by having a Indian rifle. The 2A is actually quite a bit better (in my opinion) than a British enfield, as the steel is substantially stronger and the 7.62 Nato round is much more practical than the .303. The Indians coated them in a thick black paint (over the normal finish which I believe is park.) and preserved them in cosmoline but it looks like your sporter is cleaned up quite a bit. Make sure it extracts correctly as the Enfields like to break extractor springs (they're $7). I can give you more info on them if you want.
  7. I have had two of the Indian Enfield 2As for awhile now. When they were imported a few years ago they sold for around $170-$200 but have gone up to the $250-$320 range. Probably not a trade up in your case, but maybe a trade sideways? The enfields are great shooters and are generally pretty accurate. Normal accuracy is about 4moa with surplus ammo out of the box, and there are lots of tricks for accurizing enfields. Below is a pic of a group I shot today in the wind and a pic of what the military stock looks like.

You're welcome to come shoot mine if you want to try before you trade.

  8. I have a cheap Tasco 3-9x40 on mine. Survived my first tour on my issued M16, still holds a zero on my AR just fine.

Looks like hell, but I call it character.

Is it an old Tasco Super Sniper? One of the best if not the best thing Tasco ever made. Most Tascos in my experience are absolute junk, and break if you look at them funny. The Super Snipers were very good though for what they were.
