  1. I just picked up a bottle of the Glenlivet 16yr Nadurra...mind ='s blown. I don't even know how to describe this stuff. It's smooth, flavorful, and has a bite at the end (55%abv). I have not had another Scotch like this. It's got the sweet, vanilla smoothness of one of my favs, Bushmills 10yr single malt Irish, but it's got that extra edge found in Scotches. http://www.theglenlivet.com/nadurra/index.php
  2. I know you were, and I was agreeing with you. I did not see the funny.
  3. +1. Columbus is a breeze compared to other places.
  4. Jax Teller fighting monsters.
  5. I grew up on Star Trek. Picard was probably my favorite character of all characters, of all Star Treks.

    Hawk

Years and years ago I was hunting up at Dillon Wildlife Area and my dog went down into this swamp then I heard some barking. I run to the edge of this hill to see my dog about 2ft away from this giant owl that was guarding this muskrat it had killed. So this thing is standing on this muskrat, has its wings out trying to make itself look bigger, and anytime my dogs snout got within less than a foot of this thing, it would peck at him and try to take a chunk of his face off ha ha. I mean, this was a big owl. So run down the hill to get the dog and this owl just looks at me with this look like, "Listen here mofo, I aint leaving this muskrat, so get that mongrel out of here before I peck his eyes out." I leashed the dog and we went on our merry way. What I would have given to have had a camera with me then. Pretty neat stuff.
  7. As stated before, there are parking garages close. Just go, enjoy yourself, and when they put you on the stand, recommend the death penalty.

That is not an eagle. There are some up in the hoover reservoir are. I have seen them off central college. This hawk actually looks more like an Osprey than an eagle, but there aren't any large bodies of water around here and Osprey eat fish...
  9. The Wife and I agree, she is legitimately the best of all of them. Curvy girls pull off pin up better than skinny girls and half the girls on there don't even seem to know wtf pinup style is. I voted for her.

So we have a ton of hawks by my house and I went out this morning to try to get some pics. This is the one that didn't turn out like complete garbage. Anyway, this is for those of you that like hawks. I have always loved them since I was a kid. http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/IMG_6037.jpg
  11. I spent like $600 for my wife's ring. Nothing fancy, soltaire princess cut, not a big rock at all. Which was fine for her as she isn't into gaudy jewelry at all. It's not anywhere near the nicest ring out there but I got a girl that couldn't care less. For her it's about what the ring symbolizes. Same with our wedding bands. White gold, small simple rings.
  12. Peoples who's land I hunted about 20 min outside of Mt. Sterling were family/individual farmers. Old Folks had a farm, and at least two of their sons were farmers too. Corn, Soy beans, sheep, etc.
  13. I have taken deer to Thurns. Roll in there some evening and there is like 100 deer just stacked up on the dock ha ha.
  14. +1 I have owned both auto and 5spd dsm's. 5spd is slightly more fun of a driving experience, but then there is the flip side. The autos are stronger and shift faster. My current 1G is auto, and I am running 30psi on an FP3065 right now and beat the snot out of this thing and still haven't had a trans issue. BTW, the trans is completely stock as well as the torque converter. My buddy down here is also running 28-30psi on a big turbo, he is 5spd, and has been through more transmissions than I can remember, not stock ones either, built transmissions. It's always something between breaking teeth off gears, exploding clutches, etc. I will take my slightly less "engaged" driving experience if it means it's more reliable and I win races.
  15. 3 teenagers broke into my wife's uncles house a few years ago. It was dark. Be busted off a few rounds, hit one in the back. Kid is paralyzed now. I am not saying what he did is justified from a moral standpoint on his side, but a someone who is breaking into someones home, you have no excuse to not understand that activity may very well cost you your life. Legally, I personally don't think there should be ramifications. They broke into his house, he shot them. Maybe if people knew that if you get caught breaking into someones house, that person cat shoot you, hack off your limbs, and toss you in a freezer, people would perhaps think twice about breaking into the homes of others. From a moral standpoint though, I would have a hard time justifying my actions with finishing shots and such. Shoot them, a lot, them gtfo and call the cops.
  16. Yeah. It's sprayed on I guess. I don't remember what the chemicals are but eff all that. Smoke the real stuff. It's less than a traffic ticket if you get caught with less than an ounce. Better than dying, or thinking you are dying imho.
  17. Well Jones, what more would you like to know?
