    1G DSM question

I have a friends that ran 12.6 with his automatic AWD last year tuning with only a GM MAS and MAFT with datalogger...
  3. That's where I got mine mine. I got it on sale at dicks last year for like $500 and my wife had $250 in rebates from her credit card company we we really only spent like $250. Also, get you life jackets at wal-mart. I hate that company but gosh darn it $4.50 beats $50.
  4. Hit me up if you want to go conoeing this summer. Another good spot is in oregonia, OH on the little miami. You can bring your own or rent. Its about an hour or so south on you way to Cincy. It's only an 8 mile trips which takes about 3 1/2 hours including stopping to eat and jump off the barrels into the water. Beautiful trip though.
  5. There is one right by the waste processing plant on morse rd. Good luck maneuvering through that thing. Good way to get killed. My dad and I put in at Woodside Green park off Stygler rd and took it all the way down to Pizzuro park near whitehall. Nice trip that takes a few hours. The thing is, once you get near downtown gahanna, you see a sign that says water hazard, no canoeing in 1000ft or something like that and we were like...well, we don't really have a choice so lets just keep going and find out what it is...well, what it is, is that bridge that goes across the river at Creekside, it's very low to the river and if the river is high you are going to lose your dome piece. Fortunately the river wasn't very high and my dad and I got under it. There were people watching with their kids that were pretty amused by it. After that is was smooth sailing. Nice weekend trip that takes a few hours.
  6. I have taken hoover dam down to cherrybottom rd before and it is a nice scenic trip but really fast. unfortunately you have to get out around the cherry bottom area as if you don,t you going to run in a series of dams by Morse rd.
  7. you trying to buy it or just borrow/rent? I have a mad river canoe that is 14 or 16ft. Amazingly comfortable seats, cup holders, awesome canoe. Not interested in selling it as my wife and I like to go a few times a year but I would be down for renting it out ha ha.
  8. Right on. It's the whole freakin' turbo. Looks brand new off the shelf. James can also verify this. If I don't sell the parts I am just going to use them. I have a strong 14B I can put the hotside on and wastegate actuator.
  9. I am considering having my whole car redone in the future as well...

    Carry Laws

Most states do allow open carry but but unless you want to spend your money on a lawyer fighting a charge of inducing panic because of a dick cop that doesn't know or care about the law...just better to conceal. You can carry in restaurants that serve alcohol in PA as well as long as you aren't drinking. (Ohio is a little behind the curve on that one.)

    Carry Laws

Ohio does not have recipricity with PA. I have a FL CCW to cover that. I would reccommmend looking at the consequences before advertising on a public forum you are going to carry illegally. I would imagine they will rape you with sandpaper...just my $.02.
  12. Thanks for the vouch. To be clear, the turbo itself is NOT in working condition due to the idiot that owned it before me but the parts I listed for sales are in perfect working order and clean as a whistle.
  13. Alrighty, so I have been convinced to go the Speed Density route which is looking like it will be far cheaper for me in the long run. That being said, I have some parts I need to get rid of that I am not going to need. I bought these parts used and they have NOT been installed on my car yet. I should be able to get pics if anybody needs them. The Evo III 16G parts are BARELY used and were cleaned by FP. This is the turbo in previous threads with a bad journal bearing and compressor wheel. GM 3” MAS (honeycombs removed)-$35-sold MAFT V2.02 for 1G-$115-sold O2 Sensor housing with dump tube-$55-sold Real Evo III Big 16G hotside (extremely clean but turbo has bad journal bearing) (7cm)-$75 Real Evo III Big 16G Compressor housing $70 Real Evo III Big 16G wastegate actuator-$50 Knock off Greddy Type S BOV-$35-sold Also have stock cloth seats, front and back in great condition-Make offer $400 takes all including the interior, otherwise individual prices apply. Let me know if anyone has any questions or need pics.
  14. not sure if anyone is interested but my dad has a 22lr cowboy style revolver with and extra cylinder. let me know if you are interested as I know he had mentioned selling it.
  15. You hunt with it at all? I need something for rabbits and pheasant. I need an O/U bad as mine was stolen last year but I just can't float $400 right now. Poo.
  16. That is correct, but it's not far from dublin, and worth the drive in my opinion.

    CCW in action

Agreed...I have my CCW and I understand I am not invincible, in fact, if someone gets the drop on me, which will be in their favor, I am still at a disadvantage...just maybe a little less of a disadvantage...

    CCW in action

+1 While he may not have handled the situation to his fullest potential, him having a gun probably made a difference as to whether he left alive or not.
  21. Yes you can teach an old dog new tricks. I never started obedience training my one dog until he was 3 1/2, I just did some training with a 3 year old pit mix the other week and he learned very well. 12 is obviously older than 3 but dogs are able to adapt. Obviously the older a dog is, the more effort is required but it can be done. If you want to get together to meet me and so I can meet you, your fam, and the dog and go over some things shoot me a PM or an e-mail and we can set something up. Thanks.
