I thought it looked like shit until I saw the Z3 fenders, then I was on board.
Is that a second gen century front end on an aristo? Or did they actually make something that looked like that.
I haven't driven a Porsche that new I guess I haven't seem that yet. It's only one extra gear but it seems like at that point rowing 7 gears would be a lot slower than some kind of dsg/dual clutch deal.
Best car, worst color. The late 560s were the best R107s, really great cars to drive. I have a first year '72 R107, absolutely love it, hopefully a collector picks it up, not carmax.
Fair money too.
I have a friend with an '86 Golf with a 1.6, but the whole turbo setup off of a 1.9, it moves VERY well. I've got a '90 1.6na with gasser gears in it.
I just crushed two jetta shells with a lot less rust, wish I'd waited.
Good luck with the sale, these things are a blast.
My Passat was like this, as long as they have the software for the car, the Snap on Modis will calibrate it.
My dads friend in Cincinnati had just bought the VW license for his Modis and did it for me.
I'd imagine a good independent shop would have the ford license for Modis or the equivalent.
