Very vortex, I like it. You forgot to suggest he buy 3 colors of rust-oleum brush paint so he can mix his own touch up paint on the cheap.

I need to sell on my 1996 F250 4x2 XL 5.8L. Asking $2,400 Its got shy of 220,000 miles on it, I bought it to take to tailgates in indiana, ended up using the sporttrac. I drove it about 500 miles, and parked it for almost a year. Its been stored inside. The truck has new: front upper and lower ball joints front brake hoses rear wheel cylinders rear brake shoes rear axles seals (diff oil got changed at the same time) parking brake cables air filter spark plugs motorcraft oil and filter change dual core radiator for a 460 truck (new from smyth) It has some damage to the bed behind the rear wheel. It has pretty good A/T tires on it The rear fuel tank does not work, nor does the fuel gauge. I have a spare gauge cluster you can have with the truck, it may be the gauge, or it may be the sending unit. The previous owner said the person before him had the motor rebuilt, but there were no receipts to prove it. I can't prove it either, but the engine is fairly clean and oil tight. The rear brake line rusted a hole in it from sitting, I'll fix it for an interested buyer, or I'll take like $100 less if you want to fix it. Really? 2JZs are so fast, I'm inclined to believe that was a 245MPH pull.

I'm going to PM you my cell phone number. I work Friday at 430. So during the day is best for me, I am off all day today though.

Talked to your guy, he said it's spoken for, so no need to keep blowing up his voicemail.

I have a U-haul fitted hitch for a Lexus RX330/350. It came off my dads 04 330. He never used it, I have the hitch, these iron shims, wiring, some electrical box thing, and even most of the bolts. Free, come and get it. 71 and weber.

My warehouse is at 71 and weber. I just called him, I have a friend with a 300 F250, I can get it at any point tomorrow.

A not rusty piece of shit version of either in a convertible will blow your budget to bits, and the extent of the rust these cars get will probably also blow your budget to bits when you have to pay to have it fixed. If you must, pick the best, less valuable coupe.

I want to say wheel medic is around $100/wheel including prep work. Call Bryce.

School Me on Window Tint - Is 50% Even Worth It?

In direct sunlight it looks blacked out, but when you, or la-policia comes up on it, its not all that dark http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/da1be506.jpg 28% I had professional eclipse do it. -
Sorry I couldn't stay very long, my girlfriend had to get to work, good to finally make it out to C&C though.

Jegs carries KBS, DO NOT LET the sales associate shake the container. If you get air in the paint it won't adhere. I've sealed 3 tanks, I did a bike tank and the dude shook the paint "for me" and it bubbled off

Fishbowl windows on an expensive car are classy, fishbowl windows on cheap cars make them look like rental cars. On my old ass car I think it updated the look slightly. Off to go wash the car and start loading it.

Well mine is an 87 300D turbo. That's very cool dude, euro, well non us mbs are pretty neat.

200... clutch... Km's.... You're my new MB friend, where are you from?

Thanks man, if I wasn't required to close every friday maybe I'd make it out to QSL or HD. The paint is definitely a 10 footer, the paint on the roof is trashed, but I keep it clean. I've put so much time and money under the hood and into the chassis, I may justify having it repainted. And maybe a 1986 GenI AMG Aero kit.

She's an inch or two shorter, but you probably outweigh our collective mass.

This is what I use for body panels. Given its age, ebay may be better but on ebay you'll certainly pay for it. Also given its age be prepared to drive out of state for a clean one.

She ain't much, but the shorties love my marsedus benz.

Probably should check the board more often. My girlfriend and I clayed, cleaner waxed, and then waxed the car and did the decals. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Then the car got dirty because I had to drive it around town on some errands lol. http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/CincinnatiFiero/fe1db366.jpg Pretty stoked about the rally.

Meh, fuel is a hell of a lot more expensive everywhere else in the world and no-one has parked their cars yet. But thats a totally different thread. Actually on the contrary, a V6, light, direct injected, little sports car would be a lot of fun with a lot less power and fuel. Fuel costs are why hot hatches are so popular in Europe and they don't have a bunch of V8 muscle cars. I know I'm negating my previous post, but I could actually see a market for the Fiero, maybe. Probably not.
-
You're the only person I've ever heard say that. Everyone on 3800pro seemed to do a hell of a lot better than 19mpg. My 3800 fiero swap did 30mpg, did like 33 on a couple of occaisions, but thats a lighter car. Overall good cars, there is a recall for the valve cover gaskets and plug wire loom, they had a minor fire issue I drive a customers Impala SS with, as I last drove it, 280k on it. He says original motor, original transmission, runs and drives excellent. IIRC he said was getting 25mpg+ out of it.

I think I'm one of the few who still own a Fiero on the board, Fieros are fun because they are dirt cheap, if the Fiero came back, as already said, either it would be a big fat turd, or overpriced and cost as much as a vette. A 306HP Direct Injected sub 3000lb mid engine Fiero that cost the $30k it should cost comparitively, would destroy camaros and give the vette a run for its money, why would GM do that, that have a hard enough time selling cars. Hell the 140HP 88 wasn't even that far off the 88 Corvette. And is there really a market for impractical american cars that aren't 500HP anymore? Seems like if you wanted to pay roughly $30k for a car that was fun, you probably couldn't afford the vette and you'd want some practicality and usability out of your money, and you'd buy a Camaro or a Regal GS. If one came back would I buy it? Probably, I'd feel required. My grandfather bought his '84 in late '83, and bought one of the very last 88s (I still own THAT car), and I have bought a very early white 84 so I have the 'first' and the 'last' so I'd hav to pick up the 2013 GT in white. But that'll never happen, its hard to make a PONTIAC Fiero with no Pontiac.

It hasn't rusted through and the rust warranty isn't over. Stay tuned.

Suggestions? I've only lived in Columbus a year and a half, I figured the answer would be a place like that, but I don't have any in mind.
