Was down @ Parsons Auto getting parts for Teh_Lex and stumbled across this gem. Only significant body damage I noticed was to the drivers side door-hinge and it was minor, rest of the body was in surprisingly good condition, zero surface rust. Took a look underneath and looked decent, a little rust but not bad. Dude said he wanted $850 for the shell. Comparing a bill for a night on the town to a bill for what most would consider a necessity is asinine. The industry is well aware people rely on cars for Jobs, Doctors appointments, Kids, you name it. They are also aware the bill for said car may be prohibitively expensive, therefore they tend to work with people on payment dates (at least most shops will). Furthermore this type of scenario is how alot of smaller shops tend to retain business, as they are more willing to go out on a limb for the customer.

Times are tough, for some (well most) people cars are there means to get to work and earn a paycheck. It is not at all uncommon in the Service industry to negotiate a payment plan / payment date. If a payment date was agreed upon and this guy gave her his word then he should stand by it. As it pertains to this circumstance, If a man gave me his word on holding a check until a certain date only for him to cash it early I would light him up like the 4th of July .

I understand the anti-apple-fag sentiment but at a certain point (which IMO has well been reached) one has to take a hard look at massive security problems associated with browsing the web VIA windows and ask themselves whether it's worth it not to switch. Wait till someday when a hacker turns on your webcam while your browsing the net, then messages you (on your computer) in a DOS prompt telling you you've been owned, I bet you get a mac real fast . (and no that didn't happen to me but i've seen screen-shots / videos of it happening to other people, scary shit, and its more or less cake to do)

FYI United charges you like $50 for any/all prime spots other then there bullshit basic seating (this includes exit seats). They also prohibit you from changing seats once the plane is in the air. The few times I have been stuck with them I wait until everyone has boarded then simply walk on board like a bo$$ and sit down in the business-class seats like I own them - usually works.

Whatever you do don't fly United. Worst airline ever. There basic seating (on all Domestic flights) is an absolute fucking joke. If it came between driving 8 hours or flying 3 i'd much rather drive.
