a 1j would require everything the 2j would. a 2jzge can be had for a lot cheaper than a 1jzgte, has more displacement, and can handle being turboed with no issues. (notice I mentioned Na-t) Alex can clarify on this if he wishes, a jz block is a jz block, it's going to take abuse.

FWIW a Friend of my family has a stainless roll up tonneau, It looks good, it's lockable, easily retractable and it can support over 500lbs on top of it when its out.
