  1. sir you are correct. I do think they are over charging for cars with more the 100k miles on them.
  2. looks like it. I'm honestly going to keep an eye out for one in a year or two down the road after were done with the house.

  4. a girl mixed with japanese, german, and brazillian. It literally didn't make sense.
  5. Kerry, thank you for that. No business should be give some special tax state. If were going to be all fair, then even non-profits or churches should be given discounts. Good or bad, were 21 trillion in the hole and alot has to be cut. Fun fact Kerry, I was up to 4 am from the community coffee. lol.
  6. jp buys rx-8, does turbo 6.0, runs single digit in the quarters, and gets more internet fame.
  7. we were lucky enough to find a low mileage g35... great car and I would think the same for the g37
  8. glad your still around.
  9. Ohio needs to mindful that it doesn't get to a tax structure that gets people thinking about moving to better weather.
  10. hopefully and I also hope that the gas tax doesnt get approved
  11. im back from nola. I'm free saturday if you want to swing by.
  12. good reply on your part and yes you are correct that you leave it out of the chat box. The problem and I could be wrong, is that anytime we get into trigger points of a political party it gets pretty ugly on both sides. Let's put it this way, Kerry and I do have our political differences but I have met him in person. He's a good dude and I will never discuss anything political with him because I don't want to have a flare up to change my perception that he's a good dude. Hell he even offered to help me work on my project car. Maybe it's time that the kitchen has run it's course and any personal differences that are flare ups should just be handled via pm.
  13. The last few weeks you have pretty much gone out of your way to either disrespect people on the board or deliberately flame up topics that have died. The board was better without the political bickering. You were the one who couldn't resist and restarted the mess in the kitchen. It's time to accept we have different beliefs and it's time to move on from the political bickering because it gets no one anywhere. Maybe it's time for both sides that maybe a car message board, isn't the place to go on a political bender about (yes I have been guilty of this in the past but realize people can be different than what you assume)
  14. greg is trying to do his normal baiting of people. move along.
  15. since the convo has gotten to this point, maybe it's best for both parties to move along so things don't escalate
  16. Kudos for you being a cash investor.
  17. If you wouldn't mind, can you talk to what your 1st property story was like? initial cost, remodel budget, etc? You mentioned about your processes and finding good tenants... any insight into that? Yes I know those are in depth questions and I appreciate your time
  18. all the screaming and yelling is over the top.
  19. I get it that the news is an entertainment business. I was using the football program as an example that there are successful minorities in the south that didn't demand a hand out. If you can't find it, I can ask my dad to borrow it. It's like $200 bucks. I do agree that there is an issue with the criminal justice system in making money of imprisoning minorities. I can't remember the parish prison system name for New Orleans, but there are more african americans in prison in that parish than african americans in college in the state of Louisiana. Thats mind blowing I agree that the prison system needs to be reformed, but there needs to be more focus on personal standards of excellence even when facing crappy odds. Have a good one, I have to get to work.
  20. Kerry... I finally remembered what street my parents have their remaining remodel home and it's State street. It's off the main street that runs to the Home Depot downtown. Basically between Earnheart and Fountainbleau. I would recommend finding the disc that was just put together by St. Augustine alumini about their football program during the end of segregation and being the 1st black football school to play against white schools to learn more about how standards can lead a small minority group to excel when facing odds against them. There is a much deeper success story of minorities in New Orleans than what the media wants to know because it doesn't fit the victim agenda.
