After the NFL let this bs pass, I am not watching or spending any money for anything NFL. Kapernick's approach is the problem in the current black community. It is easy to make a stand without any real solutions and the county needs to get back to standards of you simply don't fucking do this to prove a point to respect those before you. Turning the finger pointing inwards will be able to have the most impact. Instead of crying of it's so unfair that G wizze dizzle got shot by a police office because he pointed a gun at an officee while being a know drug dealer, how about focusing on actionable items that are going to better individuals as a whole: 1. boycott BET or anything rap related that creates an idealization of a drug dealer or that your a real g by being an uneducated piece of trash. How about creating shows outside of basketball wives or rap world garbage that inspires folks to better themselves as being successful African Americans. I was honestly shocked to hear a recent song by Dae Dae stressing the importance of taking care of his kids because the was his responsibility. 2. Create ways to drive awareness on the importance of either earning a education or learning skills to become a tradesman in order to provide for themselves. If folks are focused on the next steps and feel that they have too much to lose, then doing stupid shit doesn't seem as appealing. 3. Add conflict resolution and effective communication skills to basic education in the worst of the schools core education. Teach individuals that it is possible to resolve conflict without the need to have rash reactions. 4. Drive home the message that a successful African American is able to provide for themselves while stressing the message that illegal funds are basically unable to be used long term through various media outlets. With the increase of anti-money laundering from companies and temptation of social media to track ones actions, it's not worth it. I know the 1st reaction is that I am some racist koon ass from the south. I am half black who grew up in both worlds. It has been painful to watch my community destroy itself while blaming others. Most of the hip hop record labels are owned by the same white groups the have business relationships with the owners of white private prisons who profit of the ignorance of Black America. I am very proud to be white and black, but if one is so mad about how the police treat their community, then become a police officer and make a positive change instead of doing more damage. Fuck the NFL.

turbo-mopar.com, turbododge.com, boostedmopar.com, and neons.org will become your new websites for info. I have to say it, but I am jelly of the car. Too bad the 2.2/2.5 turbo's never came with the infamous tall-deck block.
-
Yea I need to swing by sometime. I get caught up with life and next thing you know summer is over. Shit I may get some motivation to actually lay a finger on one of the two car projects I haven't touched in 4 months from visiting someone who has.
-
Man thats alot of progress. By chance how are you going to get rid of the block if your trashing it?

The mornings for me are more tranquil since not many are on the tennis courts. The big problem I have with that time, is that it's not hot out. I prefer the 95+ degrees days with no wind.
-
That is a very tempting option for simplicity sake and valve train stability which one does not have to pull the heads every 10k miles for high lift cams. On the flip side, not many have ventured into the world of wasserboxer cases with 4 inch bores. A turbo sitting on an engine with a 84 stroke and a 4 inch bore would be titties. The big problem at the end of the day is if one still sticks with a vw transmission even its a bus 091, better have 5 as backup if running 400+ hp. Getto.... even if the floor pans were shit, the owner can literally go to a swap meet or open up vw trends to order any sheet metal part for any air cooled vw year ever made.

what in the fuck are they doing. There is no need for the cabriolet chassis given the after market support for older vws and the potential.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have such a hit or miss schedule that it wouldn't be possible to schedule anything on craigslist. I will get in contact with one of the cement recyclers and go from there.
-
I don't have a crazy amount that would require a dumpster truck, but where can I go to legally get rid of broken up cement from a side walk so the trash guy doesn't want to flatten my tires? Fyi, I already used a good amount to create flower beds across the yard so I literally don't have room for cement lawn projects. Thank you in advance.

yup seen this scam at work at a credit card company. Basically it never dries and turns into a shit mess.

i have their band saw. the only two complaints I have with it is that you don't want to trust the angles it says its set at and have to mess around with the settings. The other thing is that you will have to weld on extension for the tubing to rest on so you can cut longer than a few feet. If you haven't seen it online already, don't even bother with the blade that comes in the box and get the upgraded version that they have in stock. It's great to be able to cut metal in the garage and not wake everyone up like you would with a chop saw. If you want something that is set and be done with it, then the harbor frieght press may not be for you. There are several companies the specialize in used metal equipment but I would have to dig up their websites if needed. I'm pretty sure Alex has a Grizzly band saw that he obviously uses with great success, so they maybe an option.

Give an inch and they will take a mile. The EPA wants to crack down on tuners while allowing goods to be imported from counties that have no regard to pollution since large corporations profit from the usa's trade deals which is a double standard. This has the goals to remove self-sufficiency in order to add to the low wage work force.
-
unreal. What setup do you have to melt everything?
-
That is the best bet price wise and still is to this day. If you need something specialty cut, tinman at his work place is great.

hmmm. May have to check out the "company cars" in New Orleans when were down there for Mardi Gras.
-
great logic.... let's worry about guns and not the reasons the cause a lack of hope or lack of skill which leads to it.

"the car for a land lord with an insane ratio of rings to fingers." lol

It's been almost 10 years for someone to beat Shepherd's 7.7 in an AWD DSM. While I have never owned a DSM, I have always held them in a high regard. Here's the Red Demon breaking the record (can fast forward to 2 minutes):
-
jesus that was a hell of a ride you went through. Unreal that you didn't get injured.
-
as mentioned before, cut it up, and put it out with the trash in manageable pieces.
-
man the small angles look good. I doubt their is any flow differences with how well it's put together.

I'm at a point that I'm so tied up with projects on the house, work, and training for tournaments that it's time to down size on items that I won't touch in the next year at best. I'm even considering getting rid of the 81 corolla shell purchased last summer, but still up in the air since I don't want things to rot away from not being used while wanting to not give up hope. More on the item: - N/A 2j ($250): bought it off craigslist and the only thing missing is one rod cap since I wanted to compare it to the 7m rod before moving (no idea where it's at). The engine spins fine, cylinders are in good shape, the cylinder head is in good shape, and the head gasket was fine when I pulled the head off. I do have a hoist so I can load it for pick up at my place and I promise I won't be naked. The engine would be a perfect back up block/head to build for those who already have a combination in place wanting to take the next step and not have their car down for a full rebuild. Yes I know the head is off the block, but one can get a realistic look at what they are looking to buy without having to roll the dice.
