  1. There are some Triumph's making the rounds on cl right now, but seem overpriced for what they are imo. Another car to think about I guess could be an old MG. If you want something more modern that handles well, you could look at Miata's. My brother breifly had a turbo Miata, those things are seriously like adult go-karts.
  2. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/Screenshot_20160520-201709_zpsre7pec9b.png LOL Miller.
  3. Wouldn't be fair, you would just flip your lights on when you are losing lol.
  4. This. I would stay away from caravans though if you want reliability.
  5. You want good gas mileage and Chevy Avalanche made the list?
  6. If you ever need any help with anything on this car I could lend a hand. I used to have one and knew the car inside out. Also, if it ever devolops random stalling issues, just replace the distributor.
  7. Have you gone and taken a piss on the curb next to the cars to mark your territory?
  8. I forgot about this trick, definitely funny to watch.
  9. Business is better when you build a product not designed to last...
  10. Good thoughts with checking wires. My old Camaro had this exact problem (after I put headers on it). Turned out the positive battery cable that went down to the starter had burned on the header and was arcing to the header when I tried to start it. It was a super long cable though because the previous owner had replaced it.
  11. Get some bleach or something that kills grass slowly and draw a giant penis in his yard? You're not fucking with the cars, and if you time it right they could never prove it was you. Or, you could just ignore it since it really doesn't effect you. I mean, realistically you could just park in front of his house every night until he gets the point.
  12. What weight oil are you using? How many miles? I always used 10w30 in mine when I had it with around 100k on it and never had an issue with oil pressure. Also, does the tick disappear when you get oil pressure, if not then are you sure its not an exhaust tick? Mine had a broken exhaust stud and it had a tick that sounded like a lifter. One thing to try to bring up oil pressure (I assume the pressure used to be higher and that you have not changed weights), 500 miles before you change the oil add some seafoam to it. The other way to clean your motor well would be to change the oil and replace one quart with atf then change the oil again after about 1000 miles. Either way will clean the inside of your motor really well in case you have any kind of sludge issues or debris in the pan that could be clogging up the pickup screen. Otherwise, your pump may be worn.
  13. 160hp from a 1.4L? Thats just a little over 100hp per liter, thats ZR1 territory.
  14. Have you looked at how to tune the carb? Could need adjusted. Also, how is the compression? The rings could be worn out.
  15. Typical response will be Mad Hatter. I hear they do awesome work (never been there myself, but know a few that have), I would probably go with them.
  16. VW programmed the ecu's in the diesel cars to recognize when emissions testing equipment was hooked up and to adjust the tune to pass emissions. Without the adjustment they would have failed from the factory.
  17. A guy where I work has one. He said it had 130k on it when he took it to the dealer to have it looked at (his brother dropped something in the motor when he was replacing the starter, fortunately it was plastic but it still ticks now), when they took it apart they said it was the cleanest engine they had ever seen, not even any yellowing in the cylinder heads (he changes his oil religously). The car runs excellent and has had no problems besides the starter, and whatever was dropped in the engine.
  18. I'm still interested. Text me and I'll make an offer.
  19. For just getting rid of dandelions I used Scotts weed n feed in the past and it worked well for me.
  20. Another bike I would suggest would be the Yamaha FZ1200 (or 1300 now I think, not sure it is called a FZ these days either). Kind of a sport touring bike and should be about double the power your BMW has now. Also, of you manage to get the other bike for your girl, definately have the carbs rebuilt (or cleaned at the very least), everything inside them is likely gunked up.
  21. From what I understand, Mustang does burn out, hits crowd of people, 2 die.
  22. Yeah, call the dealer and see if they can help you. I can't promise they will, but most keep the information on file for 10 years I believe. Otherwise, I believe there are locksmiths that are capable of doing it.
