  1. It almost seems there may be multiple meets on different sides of town now. I think if the numbers at the meets stay down and people clean up after themselves then we prolly won't get kicked so often.
  2. The officer told me the same thing, I also will not be going back to hd.
  3. Lowes polaris, hd got shut down... again.
  4. Sounds like the same kind of driver that was in a silver Passat on 71 south today. Got so mad about the car in front of him going too slow for him that he tried to merge into my drivers door to go around him. Then continued to almost wreck multiple times weaving traffic just for me to beat him to the exit (he got off where I did). So there is another cool story bro moment for you, can I haz 10,000 internet poyntz too?
  5. Can't afford to pay rent or for food so we pay it for them, yet they can afford big rims (and the lift kit they need to fit the rims) and a paint job. :dumb:
  6. Pink... Just kidding. All black gets my vote.
  7. I sent my steering wheel overseas to a company called Redline Goods (http://www.redlinegoods.com) to have them make a new cover for it. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w392/uummm1/20140603_180943_zpsrzilxha7.jpg I stitched on myself which was easier than it seems. There are a few wrinkles around the spokes which I don't mind so much, but if I ever do it again I will take more time to try to get the wrinkles out. As far as the company goes they were great to work with and because I am the first one to have a steering wheel like this done, I get a $100 refund when send them some pictures. The wrap is made of genuine Alcantara leather otherwise the wrap would have been free (because I'm the first to have this style of steering wheel covered). They offer many different colors and styles of leather and make all kinds of stuff for interiors and the pricing is very fair. If you want to add a custom touch to the interior of your car, this is a good quality place to start.
  8. For the puff of smoke on startup issue, try taking your intercooler and piping off and see if there is oil in there. If there is that could point to bad turbos or (depending on how the car is set up) the pcv system.
  9. As was stated above, depends on why it was salvaged in the first place.
  10. Somewhere other than sawmill road so the entire group doesnt know where its moving to.
  11. My dad has a 03 100th anniversary dyna low ride (The bike was rear ended a couple weeks ago, so I will talk to him and see if he got it fixed already or not), I can talk to him and see if he would let me borrow it for the day. I can try to get a couple pics in the next day or two if its fixed if your interested.
  12. I heard Kirk has had one for 6 months now.
  13. Lol, I've been reading it but not posting. I like the project (looks much better with a bed on it though).
  14. Holy balls, your working on it again!!! Anywho I hope progress picks up with this one, I cant wait to see it on the road again.
  15. Lol, I should have put a "still" somewhere in that sentence.
  16. My uncle told me when I got my license not to drive through perry township without hubcaps because they would bust you for showing your nuts. :lolguy:
  17. You could probably get away with replacing the ones that are ticking, however I would replace them all so you don't have to worry about it later. Also check to see if you have an exhaust leak coming off one of the manifolds, I thought I had a ticking lifter (4.7 durango) but where the studs got worn and streched at the y-pipe and manifold it caused a leak.
  18. Iirc, if the car was manufactured without seatbelts (read before they were mandated), then you are not required to wear them in such a car. I wouldn't imagine you would be pulled over in a classic car that meets criteria if the officer knows anything about cars, and if you are pulled over for it, I'm sure after some checking into it you would drive away without a ticket (for a seatbelt anyways). Back on topic though, I thought some time ago that they had passed a law that you could be pulled over for just a seat belt offense, that's why I never fought it when I got pulled over a few years ago when my wife wasn't wearing her seatbelt (front seat passenger), and the officer told us that's the whole reason we were pulled over. I just paid the ticket anyways because she was in the wrong.
  19. Damn, I bet he felt that the next morning...
  20. I'm pushing 262k in my achoad.
  21. Haha, I didn't catch it until you posted.
  22. I wonder if anyone gets pulled over in mexico tonight...
