How do the bottoms of the doors look? If the body is in good shape and the frame is also, I am heavily interested it.

Its really a shame that you're taking that car apart. It looks like a really clean car in the videos and you have so much time and effort in it. I'm sure you have good reasons for doing it, it just sucks to see someone undo some that they did so well on. After you get it all taken apart, what are your plans for the body?

Would wheels from 2001 Grand Prix fit? They are 16" five lug. Good tires all the way around. Also I have to new tires for them. Nevermind. I just saw in the pic that the wheels you have are four lug.

I just don't get why people get back on it like that. Once you spin and get out of the grove the race is over. Why risk killing your car, yourself or the other guy?

I see what you're saying there. You can see in the video at the last moment the other driver's front end went to the left and then he came to a stop on the side of the road.

Please don't take this the wrong way as I have never road raced before, but wouldn't it generally be a better idea to try to swerve to the right as the car is skidding to the left? I would presume the car skidding out would continue to go that direction leaving the road clear to go around on the right. Is there a rule or something that would make to have to go that route? Either way that really is a bummer. Especially with a car you have ran for such a long time. I'm glad you both walked away from that.

I have a 2pc standard bore 2 bolt block. came from a 1980 c10. $100.00 if you come pick it up.

I just sent sent a truck out to have that done. The estimate came back at $3900.00. Not an ideal price but gives you something to think about.

I hope you realize that the EPA doesn't allow lead to be used in cars any longer so you will never be able to start you truck. Way to go Clay. SRS though, good luck with the lead. I've heard using lead is an art and can be very difficult to do.
