The vette has a rebuilt salvage meaning no structural damage, only cosmetic. Regaurdless it's still an 06 corvette and you have a 99 TA...
Yes, you are 100% correct. I have a 99 Trans Am. It's totally stock. I have no bolt on's, no tune, nothing planned for it at all. It has absurdly high miles so you should have no problem walking away from me.

Still would be better than anything you have
Lol you're a cutie...Good luck with that.
I tell you what son, I have clean clear titles for everything I own. I bet that if you were to line up with me that in the end I would have clean clear titles for my cars and then also some salvage titles too.

Looking at an 05 Chevy equalnox... I'm trying to convince her in a tbss.. But she wants something good on fuel
You should get an "Equalnox" and put twin turbo's on it!!!

How is owning a Corvette fun when you have to park it at someone elses house and then when you drive it you get the car filthy driving down the driveway. Not to mention it seems like yours is always torn apart. While his car may be the meekly V6 powered Barney mobile, he gets to drive it and have some good times with it.
Also, his car is only 3000 pounds with him in it.

Great location. You can make good money tending bar and then after work walk over to Kahoots and spend it all.
-
You should buy it back, fix it and then twin turbo it. If it were me, that's how I would invest my money for big returns. It's always been my dream to own a salvage title twin turbo F150.

Too bad she took out a privately owned fence before she stopped on the tree. Now it will hit your collision instead of your comprehensive. Be prepared for evan more painfull insurance premiums.

Justin doesn't have any info on this car at all/ You can do a VIN search through the BMV to find the previous owner. Also, I thin CARFAX can tell you that also but I'm not sure.

How about something like this:

These are made by Eagle alloy wheels. These run about $330 a piece from Summit for 18"
Or these:

These are made by Ion Alloy and run about $200 a piece through Jegs for 17".

Another good deal missed out. bummer.

To be honest.. Your better racing that stock civic or the v6 auto firebird than to race me. Just because you have bolt ons or h/c ls1 and can trap 110mph doesn't mean you can hang with the FI ls's... I remembers my First "fast" car...(this should take it to 10k views)
I remember my first fast car also, and my Trans Am isn't it. I'd be happy to put my LS1 against you...VERY HAPPY

How about racing a Trans Am with 227,000 miles on it? Serious question.
-
Yeah this is my first Honda build so I am sure I will learn many new things as I go along. Thanks though haha
P.S made over 300hp on a ebay turbo and bone stock b20 on low boost many years ago with no issues from the turbo. Must just be lucky I guess lol
One more edit, I would never use a turbonetic product. If/when this gets a different turbo it will be from Precision, hell it may end up with my 6262 should I decide to ever step up to a 67mm
Really???

Are these bulbs for your Camaro?

I seriously want to make the 2hr drives this summer to come to CR meets, just to be a part of the LULZ to this guy... I can foresee the hilarity now.
You should, if not for this dude then so we can see your car and talk to you. I talked to you briefly at CC&C and thought you're pretty cool to talk to.

I think it looks really great. I know how much hard work it is to convert something likethat. I have been working on my bathroom for about as long. It will look nothing like yours, but still nice and a huge amount of work.

I almost lost my leg because of infection. This job was done at a shit whole hospital. He stuck a straw in there and sowed it up. I went to a different hospital the following day and was in that hospital for 13days. They had to cut dead muscle tissue out and some other shit that was infected.. I can't quite remember what needed to be done but the ended surgery left a nice size scar stretching from the hole to the straw area. Looks like someone fisted my thigh. Your not "rich" but you own how many cars? Dat house! You work hard for your money but doesn't change the fact your rich. Didn't you mention the c6z was given to you? I'm not bashing you and I admire your accomplishments. Wanna drink some beer and eat some wings sometime? You can tell me more about your credentials
What do you think I could get for this? This happened while I was working on someone else's car. I moved an engine on a stand, it fell, my hand was in the wrong spot. I'm trying to buy a bigger nicer house and I could really use the money. The mental anguish I have suffered and the pain from it has been terrible.

I'm am only kidding....this was my own fault and I am cool with that.

You never said they gave you back your DP. Why did they do that? I never seen an insurance company reimburse a down payment. Not even when they totaled my car and I bought my GTP the same day, and even then they only gave me back the sales tax I paid for the GTP.
-
I considered it an investment at the time because salvage vettes with 18k miles was bidding around 21k-23k then.. I had little over 10k$ invested into it. I could of sold it for a quick 20k$ and put nice down payment on a c6z but I promised my old man I wouldn't sell it if he helped me. The settlemental value I have in this car is worth more than cash I could sell for. At times I wish I would of done that but I wouldn't have near as much mods as I do now. Prob would be h/c c6z but nothing crazy. Regardless of title status it's still a c6. Your average joes dream car
Lets see:
$13,500 down PLUS
$6,600 buy back PLUS
$3,000 parts PLUS
$1,800 paint EQUALS......$24,900 PLUS you "twin turbo" kit.
$25,000 for a salvaged car that will probably be able to read my rear license plate this summer. How do figure you only have $10k invested? Is that after your down payment and re-purchase amounts?

It used to be crazy. The wreck was when I was 20. I had a few speeding tickets, but never got a speeding ticket in the vette yet (knock in wood). I'm only paying 240$ monthly for liability for the c6 and supra and full coverage on the truck. It used to be up there until I dropped the insurance company and went with gieco. I remember at one time I was paying little over 500$ a month but I also had a sick street bike in shit then
I would shit if I had to pay that much for car insurance. I pay less than $225 every six for full coverage on my Trans Am and my dually and my car trailer. Do you get a discount being ex-millitary with GEICO? I'm just curious being who GEICO is.

23 with an "at fault" accident and a new truck plus a C6 vette, I bet your insurance is throught the roof.

We all know if there is a hot lap race that Gary will win. After all, he is the unofficial CR hot lap champion...right?
