The storms for Columbus are always over-hyped.
Should read like this. They call for inches and inches and we get maybe 1 inch and then it melts the next day. Honestly we tend to have rather mild winters in this area every year. Yes we do get a good storm late in the season but even then they are far between.

That rug really tied the room together!
Maybe they should lock thier door? This happened to a buddy of mine. He came home drunk and passed out on his sofa in the living room. When he woke up hours later he saw the front door open. Figuring he must not have closed it when he came in, he closed it and then went upstairs to bed to find some woman passed out wearing only his t shirt. When he tried to wake her up she would not. So he let her sleep till she woke up. When she finally did, she put on her clothes, went down stairs and asked him why HE was in HER apartment. Aparently those mushroom shaped apartments all look the same when your drunk. She was staying in the apartment behind his in the sae building. This stuff is too stupid to make up.

What TB is supposed to come or be used with it?
If you are in need of an intake I have a Ligenfelter intake with a BBK 80mm TB I would be willing to sell.

This sounds like the way to go. You get the motor, harnes, computer, fuel system, trans and whatever else you need. You can't get all that for a grand anywhere else.

Wrong. You own the copyright to any original work done by you, including photography.
There will most likely be some sort of mandatory update of which will have a box that you have to check stating you give permission for them to share. If you don't check the box they will most likely delete your account.

I don't use it, however, my childrens mother does. I am overly cautious about pictures of my kids. I don't post them places and I don't want to see pics of them used without consent. That is my only problem with it.

Not very much area under the curve. Perhaps I see a cam change in the future? Cool either way though. I am a little curious why you went with the 5.3 though. Was it a budget decision?

I had to replace a bunch of knob and tube when I moved in 3 years ago. Still have 3 lights powered by it, and it's probably going to stay like that for the long-term. Yay for 86 year old wiring!
But I find it curious that all of your appliances are dying a few days before the end of the world....

That stuff looks scary as hell. I can see why people would want to get away from it. Must have been the absolute original way houses were wired.

Where are you located?

I have Pushmatic in my house. I have thought about converting it myself but I am not an electrician. It works just fine at the moment although one breaker is touchy and and trips all the time. Fortunatly all it runs is the lamp and out let in my front ard so I don't worry too much about it.

You're looking to put what, $1000 into an $800 truck that you were selling for a good reason with a thought to be good engine. After you get done with the swap are you going to keep the truck? If so, then why were you trying to sell it? You could swap a 5.3 and then sell it for what it cost to put the motor in it. Yes it's a good truck but is it really that good? Do what ever you want, after all it is your truck and your money.

I remember reading about this guy in hot rod magezine. IIRC the story, the oriinal engine for this car is not in the car itself but in another trailer. He did that because if someone stole the car they would not get the numbers matching engine to strip and sell.

How about 275 wide front tires, no power steering, a standard shift trans and a 10" chainlink steering wheel.

This. What I've personally seen from Evolved is good. The best work I've had done was at Thou Art in Lancaster. I'll be going back.
This is where I have had the majority of mine done also. Steve and Andy are top notch.

Until they stopped paying
60 grand a minute......I would probably do it on PBS and sell DVD's of it on EBAY.

Is there a sign on bonus if you initiate the job? There is no stipulation that he HAS to hit your face, only that he will "most likely" aim for your face. All you have to do is sleep facing the inside of the bed and leave the back side of your body (head, back...) exposed so he has a target. I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning and this might be the motivation I need. So my answere to the original question is probably the next 15-20 years I'd say.

Thanks again George.

I'll take them. Do you know if you have the mounting bolts to the motor and cross bolts that hold them to the stands?
Im not 100% sure but I'll look.

I could dig them up today for you. They are in Pickerington which is not far from you. I could have them later on this afternoon say around 4ish. I'd take $20 for them.

I have some.

I took a small load of sheet scrap in about 3 weks ago and Ace paid 120 a ton for it. Not even worth the $$$ but I had to get it out of the way. I took a load of I beams in last week and they paid 220 a ton for that. Rotors and other heavy steel pay more than that. I would expect to see around 240-250 a ton right now for that. If you're going to hoard your metal I would highly reccomend keeping it all seperated and as neat as possible. Stack all your drums and such. I wonder how many people here haul scrap? Would it be worth the time/trouble to start a scrap price thread?
