I use beard oil and mine does whatever I want it to. I shampoo it then apply the oil after showering. I can make it look extremely near or super scraggly and mountain man-esque. All the women in my family love it, GF won't let me shave it. I just trim it so it blends with my head hair and doesn't look nasty at the transition between my head hair and facial hair, in occasion I'll trim my mustache up so it doesn't get nasty when I drink something. Also I shave my cheeks above my beard and neck below so stragglers don't come in. On top of that combing it 2-3 times a day helps get any dead or loose hairs out as well as knotsand lets your skin breathe so the beard oil can really do work.

Bob, while I appreciate your contributions to this thread, those are not what I'm looking for. I am entertaining the idea of a 10/22 but an AR15 styled rifle is not really what I want to get her involved with just yet. After she has shot a meat and potatoes (for lack of better term) gun, yes then I will consider them. Even though they are chambered in .22 I know she still won't be mentally comfortable shooting it just because of the stigma associated with them being the "big bad gun."

Looking to buy a plinker for myself and GF to have fun tinkering with. Don't really have too many requirements other than it being fairly cheap ( less than $250 is ideal) and that it is bolt action. Coming with or without a scope isn't a deal breaker, just needs to have a good set of sights on it. Mainly looking for ideas..it will mainly be used by her, I'm just trying to get her eased into shooting so she can work up to my AR at some point. If you have something you've thought about parting ways with feel free to PM me pics and a price with details and we may be able to work something out.

Throttle body. My GF's car did the exact same thing on her '11 Fusion SE and ford has a tsb out for it. They are covered under a recall I'm 99% sure. I bought it and missed the window to get my money back but I think the recall is ongoing.

I ran my Blizzaks on my Supra in the summer because I was too cheap for new ones, they actually wore well and didn't exhibit near the wear I anticipated given my driving. I think you'll be okay, especially since you don't really got out carving corners in it and you only toot around town in it.

That is badass!! How much extra would a service like this run per car or trip? Only complaint I have is just me being picky, seeing no jackstand's makes me pucker. Other than that this looks like a genius idea, I'm amazed it hasn't caught on more.

A big issue is what Wagner said. Everyone wants a meet but no one wants to leave their backyard to see it. In Dayton I drove almost an hour weekly for a good meet. Get a group of cars together and it is fun, even without racing the whole way. People are too picky about it. " It's all the way on the other side of town? But, but, but, I have to get away from the keyboard and drive 30 minutes!!!"
