  1. Jeff is actually how I was first introduced to CR waaay back when IPS was down off Greenlawn. Spent quite a lot with him in those days on the first modifications on the Stealth, unfortunately now there's one less shop that are willing to even tackle those things.
  2. I think he's meaning given IPS has gone the way of the Dodo bird
  3. It DOES seem like the best way to get exposure is to poach members off of the main posters ie. hammond/may/clarkson or the others but that seems a little shady. Posting in the open groups with something that's trying to point them to us..
  4. There's activity but it's hard to say how much growth they are seeing in the site. I know a lot of people were put off by the need for Facebook login at first, that has since been removed as a qualification. With no ads and none of the BS posts you get on Facebook it's a much more "gearhead" friendly platform but not particularly easy to find content to follow/get followed.

Thanks for the nod Morgan, we appreciate you letting us work on your baby! Other than a few small hiccups here and there she went apart and back together very smoothly. Communication and transparency is important to us, one of the most common complaints of any repair facility is the lack of updates and honest information. Anyone who's talked to me either online or in person knows I'm certainly not shy on communicating... or OVER communicating Anything you or any other CR crew needs done in the future please reach out, we are here to help!
  6. Just curious why not a 2.3 turbo route? Much simpler swap, very similar power... or more.. than a normal 5.0 and far less work.
  7. I'm trying to use it as a platform for more indepth stuff not just reblogging Instagram stuff. A HUGE quantity of what you find on any of these sites is reposting/share/etc versus original content. I can always just toss up quick teasers of stuff we have coming up or have done then follow those up with longer articles. Question becomes where is time best spent?
  8. So the Facebook requirement is gone, which should help drive membership, cross posting to Facebook is extremely easy and the article style formatting is very useful. I know I'm opening a can of worms here by asking WWCRD but... Looking to grow our exposure online through this medium, aside from more content what feedback would you all give? https://drivetribe.com/t/AE5ogh_mS5WMytnX07SdXw/WsYs3pd5TsObdSyNzkF6vg
  9. We are getting that reputation of doing the things people don't want to do themselves Hey we don't mind, though some of it can be a TAD frustrating!
  10. Let me know you are needing service I'll put you on the books and work the whole service appointment. The only thing we don't discount are our alignments as we are still paying off our very expensive alignment machinery
  11. Lucore Automotive Services in Plain City, we can definitely take care of you and have a very comfortable CR shop rate.
  12. Not sure what part of town you are in but we're in Plain City if you want to come by during business hours I'm sure we can accommodate you.
  13. Just needed a stock cruiser right?
  14. http://jalopnik.com/show-us-your-cars-and-coffee-pictures-1791256420 Can it officially now be listed as internationally published?
  15. Joe and Bob at Performance Research, nothing else needs talked about when it comes to a build like this and machine work
  16. They are out there and worth the purchase, but good luck finding one that's not been raped pillaged and modified throughout its life. There aren't likely more than 900 left in the wild.
  17. If you are going that route, replace everything up there while you have it apart. And get the damn thing aligned! Cheap coil overs are hit or miss, we've used several different eBay specials on different cars, customer provided, with different levels of satisfaction but nearly all of them DO ride considerably harder than a stock setup. Keep in mind you'll also need a camber adjustment setup or your tires are going to die a quick death, many cheap kits don't come with them. It's an odd world we live in that putting a stock suspension on a car is more expensive than adjustable aftermarket, but here we are. If no one makes a quick strut or complete strut/spring assembly you are going to need a spring compressor that can do the job. Just some additional info P.S. On the tire subject many chain stores and tire shops won't warranty OR align your car once its been lowered. So you may be not only chewing up tires more quickly but also with 0 warranty.
  18. +1 for trouble shooting the problem. Sound advice, I concur
  19. Looks good! As someone who's been washing (mostly improperly) my own cars since before I was allowed to drive I'm just recently becoming a convert to the detailing/paint correction world. What you people do is more an art like painting than many people understand. Much props for the hard work and improvements!
  20. Seems pretty straight forward, definitely a measure twice cut once kind of thing though! Pick locations, mock up, measure, mark, make your cuts and go! If you want to swing it by we would be more than happy to take care of another CR'r
  21. Never done aerocatch, have done plenty of the old school pinned setups though. What's this going on? Steel? Aluminum? Carbon Fiber? Fiberglass?
  22. Did you have to put snow tires on it for our "winter"? Welcome aboard!
  23. I agree with Rocky, PB soak it, heat it and air hammer it. This is when those 3 hours suspension jobs become 8 hour suspension jobs
  24. Lucore is always standing by for your alignment needs, no job to big or to small, to short or too tall!
