  1. That is absolutely awesome. Kudos to you and some awesome neighbors.

Welcome aboard, good to hear you have some hopes and dreams. Look forward to seeing them fizzled out and shit on in true forum fashion Welcome to CR!
  3. Weird to see again on the big screen but for having seen it 75 times already it was still enjoyable. Crazy to think about how much has changed in the automotive world since those movies came out. Not sure who saw the movie at other locations but the Rave location didn't have much of a Car Culture turn out for the parking lot.
  4. There are a few of them out floating around but there aren't many that are this turn key. Lots of nibblers but the ones that are DONE take a bit deeper pocket than "project cars"
  5. Just bringing this thread back to life as The Day is tomorrow! Anyone else unnaturally excited about seeing this in theaters again? Ready to relive the glory days of the early 2000s? Do I install neons real quick for the parking lot car show?
  6. As someone who's spent a good chunk of his life with the phrase, "Well there's always next year" etched into your ability to talk about Cleveland sports it's hard to believe. Has anyone checked to see if Cleveland is still standing this morning?

Good pickup, I was talking not 2 days ago about picking up one of these as a new DD for mr. Problem being I know myself... and my inability when it comes to not modifying cars.
  8. Going to toss it on the wide world of craigslist and the rest of the interwebs tomorrow so unless you plan on winning quickly, it'll be gone The 64 we sold on 8 hours
  9. Welcome, there are more than a few Subaru/Ex-Subaru drivers on here. Got to the show late (as usual) and noticed a long line of WRX/STi were you a part of the gaggle? group? pack? What's the proper term here?
  10. It's never been Dyno'd as essentially all the power making parts are stock. It will certainly move comfortably and makes some excellent old school Pontiac rumble. Typical stated power levels are in the 350-370 HP range Thanks for kicking it around to the internet at large, it's a car we would certainly love to keep in the region as there aren't many quality examples of these cars around any more.
  11. As always I like to put these things on CR just in case someone knows someone who knows someone who has some money and wants one. Finished this car a few months ago for a customer however he has had a life change so is selling all his toys, home, etc and moving out of state. So up for sale goes the GTO. 1965 389 Tri-Power GTO, 4 speed, black bucket seats, the car is in excellent shape runs and drives well and sounds great. Suspension has been upgraded with tubular control arms and larger sway bar, alignment spec'd more modern to allow it to corner and ride comfortably. 47,000 miles as she sits in the yard at the shop right now. On to the photos http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/9_zpsc6luhwpc.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/1_zpsckkgirz3.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/8_zpsirjp10nv.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/2_zpsxgm6agdu.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/5_zpskjjjamac.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/7_zps1tlgsbzf.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/4_zpshapnkh63.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/3_zps2hc6jlsx.jpg http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/b452/LucoreRacing/6_zpsdwhqeja2.jpg Will add some more photos shortly once they finish uploading
  12. Have done this the last two years, it's quite an experience. Last year did it in the Pontiac and by the time we were passing the state house Temps were definitely higher than I liked, but absolutely a fantastic event put on by one of the biggest car clubs in the state.
  13. We have a "touchless" machine we use for exotic wheels and such but I can tell you there's still a tightness when using it. Clearly I'm in the wrong business, should have gone to beauty school!
  14. Good lord that tire tech had to have been nervous
  15. Makes one wonder what sorts of things he was doing for 42 year old heart failure. Not saying it doesn't happen that young, but with the lifestyle many of those fighters and celebs have around them wouldn't be at all surprising.
  16. I happen to know someone who has several of the things you are looking for VF39 is an excellent choice on your XT, it's what I ran in mine before we sold the "Shop Truck" Have a VF39 sitting on my desk here and an STi intercooler if you are going that route, otherwise yes COS is a great asset.

Not sure what that has to do with anything but, sure we can call Coffee "go-juice"!

<-- short fat bearded dude in the black Stealth that got there around 1015
  19. Almost did this as sort of a birthday gift for myself for the weekend, saw a crazy deal for it on Groupon. Unfortunately other plans came up so couldn't get out there. How was the turn out? Definitely a cool idea giving people some seat time in an exotic to "race"
  20. I made it through in one sitting from start to finish, which I think is a sad thing to say that you "made it through" but eh it's a brand new rehash so we'll see. Chris Evans I think everyone who has ever seen him on TV can agree that he's annoying and obnoxious so the tabloids I'm sure have those stories pretty close to correct. The segment in the dessert I actually enjoyed, awesome setting to show off and a pretty unique concept on "the chase" that fit LeBlanc's celeb status well. The star segment was downright painful. So terribly forced, SO miss matched. Uber chef with a TheFerrari and ANOTHER on order versus some kid that's barely been on screen and used to own a broken accord? Uh huh... On the track, I dunno we'll see. The standard track layout was fine but never very exciting, at least this has a chance for some comedy or colossal failures. Just my .02
  21. Hopefully Moorespeed can get you taken care of, if not, feel free to get in touch I'm sure I know some people who could help!
  22. Welcome back, I'm sure many of the personalities you run into from here haven't changed since last you were a member Definitely check out Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings, growing more and more every week though AutoX and other racing can occasionally cut into the turn outs. Good platform for the DollarsPerSmile value, some small upgrades can really make those Evo things a blast.
  23. Hold onto those cars for a little bit, have something in the works for those as well.
