  1. Will your employer compensate you for being World Class? I work with 2 techs who are 100% in everything including hybrids and medium duty. They could just as easily become world class techs, but there is no more money to be made. Its just a title.

I stopped at the apprentice GM training, and only have 3 ASE's. The dealership didn't want to pay me any more, so no sense wasting my time.

  2. Pair of axles out of a 2012 Camaro SS.

  3. Norwalk's shutdown is MUCH longer than trails, I don't remember the exact number but it's huge.

I think the entire length of Norwalk with their shutdown is like 4,000 feet, it's so long you can't see the top end turn off. At trails you can see the top end easy.

I've never been to norwalk, that's why I asked. didn't realize it was that much longer.

  4. You will never see a NHRA national event at the track with Nitro cars, ever. It's WAY short for the speeds and ETs they run, the drivers refuse to race there, and as long as Norwalk is up and running it won't happen.

What's the difference in lengths? Looking at satellite images, they look pretty close. With the shut down about half the length of the total track.

Worst track I ever ran was Thompson raceway. I'm only trapping like 114 and I still had a hell of a time slowing it down before the return road.

  5. Guessing you drove the car during the colder months? Those tires HATE that, and will crack.

+1 to this. I know GM will NOT pay for any performance tire that was used below 40*F. Sales found this out the hard way when they got to buy 4 tires for a Z06 when someone decided to drive it around when it was below 20.

  6. Hell I'm sure someone on here can let you borrow their trailer, put your car in it and then go test drive a 1500 and 2500. go pull the trailer around with it, see what you think and see if it's worth it in just a short test drive

    +1 to this

My tacoma is rated for 6700# or something like that. I put 2k on the back and decided that was plenty, towed like shit. Put 7k+ on my dad's 6.0 2500hd and it could have cared less.
